Would you guys be interested?

If I did a roleplay-like play through of a country in the Historic World War map, would anyone be interested?

I think I'd like to be more active on this forum in future. I often read through it, and I have to say the threads that interest me most are the RP-esque playthroughs of people. Notable ones I remember are Brando Dilla's 'My game as Colombia!' and the Franco's Spain playthrough by Karl von Krass I believe it was.

I don't see many of these, but I find them highly entertaining and interesting to read. I have seen some that noone shows any interest in too.

If I (I'm aware I'm completely unknown to anyone) did a playthrough as a country, how many people would be interested in reading through it and providing feedback? If only like 2 people responded I would be very happy with that and start doing the playthrough when I can!

If anyone shows interest then I'll probably start it in a couple of weeks, or maybe sooner depending on interest shown. I also have to bear in mind that I'm in 5 games at the moment, plus I'm super busy over the next few weeks.

BUT!

I feel that this sort of playthrough I could treat differently from other games, more as (as I said earlier) an RP-esque 'report'...

I would probably do it in Historic World War. This is my favourite map because of its historic nature, so in my opinion it's good as it reflects WW2 the most, but also in terms of the RP value of the forum playthrough - it's much easier to do an RP-esque playthrough if it's a historical mode.

In which case, all that's left is the support of you guys! If anyone bothers to read all this... But yeah. If anyone's interested and would provide support and feedback, please do reply below showing interest, it would genuinely mean the world to me if one person said this would be a cool thing to do.

Also, if you're interested, suggest which country I should do! I'm aware I won't necessarily be able to do any country, but I've got Germany quite a few times and I know the trick to that, so I could probably get most countries I'd want to. I'm also aware though, that countries such as Germany and to a certain extent the USSR, UK, and France are seen as 'easy' and walkovers - I have won a couple of HWW as Turkey so perhaps that's an option? Let me know.

Japan is a very fun nation to play as. It has some RP value, but its main attraction is that you can go to war with a lot of countries and win. Italy is another fun major nation to play with. You can do some Roman theme. For minor nations, I’d recommend Mexico or Persia. If you want inspiration, this is one of the best playthroughs on the forums. Dios, Patria, Libertad ! Yep, I am actually participating in one of these at the moment, and that’s part of the reason why I thought a play through might be a nice idea.

Thanks all - I’ll have a read of the play though linked by Brutus Trump, have a tinker of which nations I want to do, and probably will post a the play through on a new thread. Not 100% committed but I think it’d be a nice idea!
