Wtf Chicago rebellion

Was playing an All Nations, All In mode when I noticed a very odd rebellion. Chicago rebelled and joined Turkey, who is... thousands of miles away in Europe, while Venezuela is the one that is conquering the USA. Very weird stuff. Lol

No, it rebelled to Turkey, not the US.

A similar thing happened in one of my games, too, when random provinces in southern Africa rebelled and joined, of all countries, Yugoslavia.

It can be random but they may have rebelled and chose to be with another nation because of global popularity, even though geographically it doesn't make sense.

Surrounding nations popularity might be too low, increasing chances to flip to a random country.

Yep there are reasons above my pay grade of why Chicago rebelled to a specific country, I believe Turkey is a popular nation worldwide and Venezuela is a nation with low global popularity, and it was no sweat since we're all coalition members. (Although it is fun to admit the game can be silly sometimes, right? ;) )

Turkey is a gentleman i guess.
If he was a gentleman he probably would trade it to Venezuela.

Ok. Thats funny. Try being Korea and you get Naryan Ma. I think that the game needs less emphasis on market strategy, however it can be well fun to play the new COW on how the current market dynamics runs. Faster.

Syria is an AI nation chose to play the conqueror during tutorial game. If you actually played with newbies to recruit, you would know all of this.
