A Builder's Dream!

Dear Generals,

today we are happy to announce a very interesting new tool we developed for you.

War needs time, which is precious to our generals. This is why we implemented a new way to organize provinces. You can now select multiple pronvinces and construct several buildings at once. The generals will be able to see how many ressources are needed to construct all the buildings. If you are a part of the High Command you are also able to see how much it costs to put them in queue.

Additionally, in case your buildings in the selected provinces have a different level, you will be able to open up a list and select buildings that you want to upgrade.

More improvements in this update:

  • Troops are not using the shortest way anymore if this means they have to march through enemy territory or declare war to a neutral land. (Rally Points, only for High Command)
  • The pop-up to split units can be moved around and the game keeps the position. It is also easier to use now on mobile devices.
  • Errormessages and graphic errors in the tutorial have been resolved.
  • An error that occured during editing the email adress has been resolved.
  • AI-provinces can’t get attacked anymore during the peace period (new game option)

but the resource bar is still blanked out when the build menu is open.

what good does it do to show 'how many ressources are needed' when you have no display of available resources?

Only users with small screens have that problem. But it will be fixed soon.

The multi build/produce is great. I noticed with a large number of provinces the script gets stuck for construction. This was in firefox.

Some new ideas for a future update, and one of the problems I have with the game, Organising Everything, it's painful and annoying. I have AA that has been placed in troop movements that significantly slow down their response time to the location they are needed, and then I have that AA take a whole day to return. Then I have a problem when planning attacks and all.

Problems like these can all be fixed with one thing. Army Groups. Similar in Hearts Of Iron army groups are a select troops that can be ordered all at once to a specific point, instead of having to do it . one. by. one. It would also really help to have them be able to 'place along the border' any territory you have connected to the target will be assigned by the army and they will make their way to set up and evenly balanced front line.

A nice update overall. I think its a very neat improvement. ;)

Can someone please tell me how this new update "Builders Dream" works. I cannot find anything new that will let me open multiple provinces at once.

In the province list to the right you can select multiple provinces and build the same building or produce the same unit in all of them.

Some of us were saying that we already could do this. I think the Builder's Dream update consists of, in the province tab, being able to select multiple provinces and build stuff in them with one click, not having to go one province by one province. But I could do that already.
