Will CoW become Supremacy 1942?
A New Era Begins - Uniting Our Games & Studios
Big changes are on the horizon, and we’re excited to share them with you first! After years of collaboration, Bytro and Dorado are officially becoming one unified company. This marks a new era—a fresh start with a new look, new aspirations, and bold ideas for the future.
We are aligning our strengths, refining our goals, and setting the stage for even greater strategy gaming experiences. This transformation is about more than just a name; it’s about reinforcing our commitment to our players and ensuring that our games continue to evolve while staying true to their roots.
But that’s just the beginning.
A Unified Franchise: Welcome to the Supremacy Era
With our studios coming together, we are also aligning our games under one unified Supremacy franchise. Supremacy 1914, Call of War, and Conflict of Nations will now carry the Supremacy name—creating a recognizable brand that strengthens all of our strategy games while keeping each title’s unique identity intact.
Here’s what this means for you:
Same core gameplay & mechanics – No fundamental changes to how your favorite games play.
No progress loss – Everything you’ve earned stays with you.
More content & improvements – A stronger foundation for future updates and community support.
Rebranding: A New Look, Same Great Games
As part of this evolution, the games will receive a branding update:
- Supremacy 1914 – Stays the same!
- Call of War – Will transition to Supremacy: Call of War 1942.
- Conflict of Nations – Will become Supremacy: World War 3.
This helps players instantly recognize the connections between our games while preserving their distinct gameplay and settings. Think of it like other popular game franchises—different titles, but all part of the same legendary franchise.
What’s Next?
New Studio Name – A single name to represent our combined strength.
Unified Login – Work is underway to streamline access across all games.
Shared Community – We’ll transition to a single Supremacy Discord server for a stronger, more connected player base.
More Games in the Future? – While nothing is official yet, this new structure paves the way for future expansions.
Your Role in This Evolution
We know change can bring questions, and we’re here to answer them. This is a collaborative journey, and your feedback is key to making this transition smooth. Join the discussion, share your thoughts, and let’s move forward together.
More updates will follow soon—stay tuned!

I'm honestly suprised they didn't do this sooner, congrats bytro!
I always got annoyed when he said that, but to be honest he’s kinda right if you think about it
Have a good day!

The other compan (Dorado) is known for developing Conflict of Nations, another game running on the Supremacy Engine (like Call of War). The early version of CoN was developed by both Bytro and Dorado, then they took over and handled the further development.RookOnzo wrote:

What can be expected: More work synergies because of shared company resources (thus hopefully more/better features?). A shared franchise universe: There will be one website where you can access all games. More shared account features across games. A shared community (merged discord servers, perhaps also new shared forums?)
It'll be interesting to see what the shared forums will be likefreezy wrote:

Having spent too many years it the corporate world- I can assure you that when the corporate bosses come out with a new policy and talks about how everyone is gonna love it-bullshit- it will be crap.
Down with monopoly- keep the games separate- force them to compete for players. Let the game that cares for its players be the one that rules.
Walking contradiction, partly truth and partly fiction, taking every wrong direction on his lonely way back home.
They’re all already owned by the same company… Anyway, you’d have to shatter the capitalist system that rules the world as a whole if you want to break such a reality. End corporate involvement and directly fund developers so they can do what they enjoy rather than be steered by corporate greed…Delmarva pirate wrote:
