Battlefield Beyond - Graphics Update

Brand new map graphics

Call of War is sporting a new look - making the game look better than ever before. Inspired by realistic terrain, the map now has varied biomes. Cold ice is covering the poles, while the sun shines down mercilessly on the deserts of the Sahara. Mountains rise up high into the sky, while lush green plains wait for your tanks to roll through.

A new handy map filter lets discerning commanders distinguish easily between different terrain types. And despite looking this much better, the graphics update also brings a boost to the performance, making it smoother to scroll through your territories. Check out the new visuals in any map now - and let us know what you think!

Anti-Air Units are now ranged

Get ready to take your air defense to the next level! Anti-Air units now are ranged units, marked by a purple circle. Any enemy aircraft that attacks friendly units within this range will take a guaranteed hit from the AA, while all enemy planes simply passing through have a chance to take damage as well. To balance this powerful new mechanic, AA units have received a slight HP nerf, and additionally, Self-Propelled AA has a slightly shorter range than standard AA. With this update, clever positioning of your Anti-Air becomes vital for success!

Country Flag Upload Disabled on Desktop

With this update, the ability to upload custom country flags, as well as changing the leader name and title, has been disabled. This change was made due to frequent player confusion and a high volume of related support requests. While flag customization was never available on mobile, this adjustment ensures a more consistent experience across platforms. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to continue representing your nation on the battlefield in other ways!

This new graphics is a joke unable to look at screen the graphics was never a problem there was 100 ofglitches needed fix not them the old graphis accomodated all age groups this njew graphis only helps the very very young. Wantmy money revert back to a user friendly graphics screen or i am gone./

And you say look better it looks more unrealistic than ever with your color schemes dum dum dum and i can tell you many many old hats who spend a ton are not liking it at all.

I like the new look

This is the English forum.

Anyway, why do regular AA and SPAA have different ranges? Was regular AA nerfed more than SPAA?

Honestly, it's great that there's been effort to improve the game, but it's not good. The new graphics are terrible. Every time I look at the screen, I want to delete the game. Please bring it back to its old state. I love this game, but the graphics make it unbearably annoying.

Improvements for the relations map filter are already in preparation. Those will help with visual clarity to distinguish the different diplomatic relations and they'll also help with the aggressive GREEN that is currently going on.

Vomit green fantastic color choice, what clown though this was a good idea :wallbash

love the new ui visuals!

Stay Sweet!

Aggressive .... Its in your face you cant miss it ?(

Reducing how aggressive the colours are is a start, but the random brown and green colours for neutral nations is completely unnecessary and adds to how chaotic the visuals of this new update are. Also, turning on low graphics mode thankfully turns off the aggressive colours, at the cost of making everything blurry.

add some pics so i can see without starting a round, please?

i only ever played with low graphic mode on anyway so not sure if id see the changes.

i was stoked reading about the new AA system but than i read they are taking away using custom flags... ;( not cool...

if you remove the ability to change the flag, then please add a couple of flags for at least several countries to choose from

Hi there,

Frankly speaking, this graphic is not pretty and unfortunately useless. Where are the country borders? I can't see the borders of the countries. The river line is also a disturbing feature, as if it were a border. Why are the countries not different colours? Where did your graphic designer put his eyes? This white country name is also confusing. The colour harmony is not good either. The previous version wasn't very good either, because you couldn't tell who was your enemy and who was your friend. I could only see it well in the mobile version. The graphics version from two versions ago was the most usable.

To say something good: the elaboration of the biomes, the small details were good. The AA I don't see any purple areas to indicate range.

Hills and mountains look exactly the same and when i zoom out it all turns into carpet. The game needs antialiasing if youre going to change it like this, it looks bad. Then theres the colors, which are awful. It makes the game look like some kind of off-brand facebook ad game.

I see clouds, are you going to put a weather factor into the game, like if its raining a 50 reduction in troop speed, or clouds effects bombers etc.. If not then what's the point, trying to look busy to justify your jobs to still front ?

I am that type of person to play with brightness as low as humanly possible, and I am still blinded by the bright colors... And the colors look like they were made for ppl with bad vision and kids with ADHD and toddlers...

So basically, a bunch of weaklings didn't like something that won't harm them in ANY way, and therefore y'all removed it?

The only good thing about this is the AA...

The Map colors burn my eyes, They look good but they are too bright, and my other complaint/concern is the No Custom Flags and Images anymore, While I see the reasoning, My RP games will never be the same, Perhaps they could reimplement it but limiting it to go through a filter or something

Kaiser

At least they made the map less wide. That really annoyed me how wide it was
