Blitzkrieg in Europe!

The decicive moment has come! The enemy has finally revealed his plans. It is an upcoming major offensive in the heart of Europe. The peace efforts were in vain, we have to accept the reality: The war is coming! Here are the operation details:

Operation Blitzkrieg 1939

A historical scenario in 1939, shortly before the outbreak of the war. Similar to the scenario in the Mediterranean all countries start with existing armies, research and province upgrades. This map is not fairly balanced, instead it depicts the situation before the war. Some countries have an advantage, some urgently need certain resources, some have a powerful army or advanced research. You have account for the strengths and weaknesses in your strategy to survive the upcoming Blitz.

Furthermore, the HQ reports the following fixes and improvements:

• Militia improved: Reduced the upkeep from 150 to 50 grain, increased defence value to 1.5, increased hitpoints to 15, added forest and hills bonus of 75%
• Units no longer stop shortly before arriving in attack range.
• On some maps national flags were exchanged.
• In the newspaper all province names are now clickable.
• Scrolling on the map has been improved.
• The ranked information in the info window of opened rounds is now displayed correctly.
• In the tutorial some tasks and views have been improved.
• The morale of the troops is now shown in different colors.
• Unit morale is now correctly displayed after improving it with gold.
• The attack animation of ships has been improved.
• You now get a popup in the game when you have lost and not only when the round is over.
• You can now disable Naval Bases.
• Small improvements were made to all maps.
