English Channel - Event

France is occupied and war is raging across the continent. British and German forces are concentrated on both sides of the English Channel, preparing to invade! Who will make the first move? Will Germany bring the Blitz to the British Isles or will British forces plant the seed of freedom to rid Europe from German occupation?

In our “English Channel” event, you become the leader of the United Kingdom or Germany in a battle between you and your opponent. No allies. No external interferences.

Just you, the enemy, and history!

For this special event we will frequently update you about the community's progress during the event on Facebook and Twitter. These updates will include stats and infos of all players playing as Germany vs all players playing as the United Kingdom. You may fight this battle all by yourself, but the war is fought by all of you!

making equal armies is... unequal in this scenario. I'm a little bit desappointed. Also how's Ireland part of UK???????????????

Yes, this map is horrible. For all the reasons just mentioned.

Still they could have done something like give us certain level structures some ships planes anything, but instead they gave us bare bones map ripped straight from create a mach, i'm sorry but no one wants to wait a month before going to war and replay something everyone already played.

what am I supposed to do? Sit around and throw nukes over the channel? Sucks. Remove it. Better get some other map save yourselves trouble. Edit: I can't throw nukes with my hands so I have to research a bomber.

Ok just got into English channel game which is suppose to be historically accurate alas it is not...no aircraft no Navy...historically if the game is based off the actual account at start then map should have included the north sea along the Norwegian coast Denmark Holland Belgium ...while I understand the layout and starting units it's wrong. Britain relied on her air and sea power at this date...their should b prepared airfields city industry naval bases etc we should see allied units like the polish air group or the Italian corps...I'd like to email you the creator of the game I'm very interested in possibly working for you

Medditeranian Theater would definitely be better...but like I said, I would prefer All countries All in.

In no way shape or form should this be an event, put back in create a mach or make it as a regular map like the 22 or 25 player map because this was a bad idea
