France is occupied and war is raging across the continent. British and German forces are concentrated on both sides of the English Channel, preparing to invade! Who will make the first move? Will Germany bring the Blitz to the British Isles or will British forces plant the seed of freedom to rid Europe from German occupation?
In our “English Channel” event, you become the leader of the United Kingdom or Germany in a battle between you and your opponent. No allies. No external interferences.
Just you, the enemy, and history!
For this special event we will frequently update you about the community's progress during the event on Facebook and Twitter. These updates will include stats and infos of all players playing as Germany vs all players playing as the United Kingdom. You may fight this battle all by yourself, but the war is fought by all of you!

- 1x speed
- 1vs1
- Country selection: United Kingdom vs Germany
- Starts-when-full
- Players flagged as inactive after 72 real-life hours
- No AI & human player peace period
- Fixed runtime: 21 days

Well "buddy", I am sure many have not tried it, myself for one as I am new to the game, like I assume many are. And it's have to sit with this, not half to sit with this ... and I'm not your buddy

To be honest I was expecting a lot of action from day one. Coastal bombardment, dogfights,bombing runs etc. But this event sucks, Its day 2 in one of the games and I have already knocked out London by making a whole doom stack and just blitzing my way into the Island and that player playing as UK didn't even resist except for one light tank that he sent. Now the game is almost over.

I was U.K. and my opponent sent all his troops right at London. I managed to produce 1 sub and 1 bomber and destroyed all his convoys, This morning I already captured Berlin.

Sometimes I can’t click some units on this map. I tried refreshing and logging out but still. Anyone else have this problem?

The idea of the event was cool and I looked forward to it but it was just lackluster to say the least.
What I believe could fix it is
A) More starting units like the ones advertised
B) Pre-built Infrastructure and Industrial complexes
C) Make it so you have to take more than just 80 points otherwise it's just a rush for the enemy capital.
Another option that could be cool would be to have a 3v3 perhaps and the majority of each members starting units are either Air force, Navy, or Army so the map would not only require strategy but teamwork.
Just my thoughts on the event and ways to fix it, hope the next one is better!

Yes, that is a good idea. Everyone originally though this game was going to be historical when it was actually just cropped from Clash of Nationals or something.Reas wrote:

I am aware which is a real shame but it's just a thought. But having each group of the armed forces being played by a separate player is an idea that I would like to see implemented into a game mode eventually
