English Channel - Event
France is occupied and war is raging across the continent. British and German forces are concentrated on both sides of the English Channel, preparing to invade! Who will make the first move? Will Germany bring the Blitz to the British Isles or will British forces plant the seed of freedom to rid Europe from German occupation?
In our “English Channel” event, you become the leader of the United Kingdom or Germany in a battle between you and your opponent. No allies. No external interferences.
Just you, the enemy, and history!
For this special event we will frequently update you about the community's progress during the event on Facebook and Twitter. These updates will include stats and infos of all players playing as Germany vs all players playing as the United Kingdom. You may fight this battle all by yourself, but the war is fought by all of you!

During the sign-up period the event maps can be found at the top of the games list. Join these event maps to participate. We wish you good luck and much fun!

That's weird yesterday i got a solo win which i got my gold reward (yes i won and no it wasn't a bug). Like the mods say over and over they are trying their best to fix those bugs hopefully you will get it soon.ValeraZol wrote:

I dont understand your joke.. The map is easy to win with a good strategy without building anything. And you need a poor opponent ))) IN one of games I got 79* points.... But I need 80 to win... So some opponents can be annoyingWascallywabbitCDN wrote:

I agree it can be easy if you have a good strategy without any buildings. I was able to win easily because i stacked my units together and once i had his capital i was able to go get the other provinces to win. No it wasn't hard because my opponent didn't try to fight me let alone defend his country i think i may had him regret his decision to attack me. Anyways without the buildings i find it interesting like a how to win when u don't have anything your units and your tactics. I am fully aware that most people aren't happy with it which i can understand why but i see it as a challenge of what would you to win this match?
Blitzkrieg = lightning warfare, he blitzed him, so lightning 
Worst event I ever participated in. It was just cropped from a world at war to clash of nations map, and starting with no ICs just made it worse.

this was poop, all retired scenarios except this were good, this should have been replaced for Mediterranean theater
