Join the Arms Race

Dear generals,

it is time for another challenge. However, you won't be alone in this upcoming fight. 150 strong men and women will unite and fight for you in this week’s event Arms Race. Five light tanks, four medium tanks, three artillery units, two mechanized infantries, two anti-tank units, one commando and one anti-air unit will be stationed in all urban provinces protecting your already fully upgraded buildings, ready to receive orders. In all non-urban provinces you will find three infantry units.

Sign-up period: January 12 - January 15 (3pm CET)
4x speed
1st place (solo victory) receives 10,000 Gold + VP as reward
starts-when-full
random country selection
players flagged as inactive after 2 real-life days
AI & human player peace period of 1 real-life day

Great News,

it's been too long since last round of Arms Race. Two questions:

1. Is Research done in all areas?

2. Are there any issues expected or have been worked on from last round?

I recall some games had issues although I never experienced any myself.

Please don't take too long till the next set of Arms Race games They are really good fun.

Will the urban provinces have level 5 forts again, like last time? And thank you guys. The arms race event is my favorite event of all time.

The Arms Race map will be just like the ones in the past. The only difference is that it has 4x speed

You can join the maps during the sign up period. They will be created on demand by the system and appear at the top of the New Games list.

I believe that means that the minute the in game newspaper switches to day 5 the peace period is over, unless I am wrong.

It is a speed round Clanpred. 4x speed. That means 4 days per day if I understand correctly.

But Day Change is at midnight CET. Even then the games started after about 21 hours since the got going. Seems weird.
