New Event - All Countries: All In

Dear Generals,

Did you ever want to take the reigns of the smaller nations that participated in World War 2? Now is the time, because according to the motto ‘all countries, all-in’ you can choose any historical nation that existed in 1939 in this Event. Try to grow a small country into a big empire or pick an established superpower and surround yourself with allies. Recreate history or conquer the whole world in this historical battle scenario!

Event Details:

  • Sign-up period: 2019/02/08, 11 AM CET - 2019/02/12, 11 AM CET
  • Historical world map with borders of 1939
  • 73 players: Every nation of 1939 playable
  • No AI countries
  • Random country selection
  • Starts-when-full
  • Starting conditions are balanced historically
  • AI & human player peace period of 24 real-life hours
  • 2x speed

I’m in a tough situation as Siam, I’m in a coalition with Netherlands, Australia, and New Zealand. There is another powerful coalition with UK, France, America, and British India. I don’t know who to attack now...hopefully someone will go inactive...

I'm thinking I got stuck with a country with zero chance of success... While other countries have litterally a hundred times the territory and resources as my feeble Cuba. So I ask, whats the point? Is the challenge to see if I can win a game at a hundred to one odds? Why? .... Whats the point?

Try playing as South Africa, it is fun. Cuba can win too, conquer the carribean and central America, I've seen Bhutan and even Haiti win. When you're more experienced maybe, you could try this event again.

I can't believe this, but I'm doing well as Oman and Yemen, at least in early game. I have basically an infinite supply of food and metal, but shortage in everything else.

That is one thing to watch when you take over provinces of an adversary- to disable barracks and sea ports that you do not plan to use. If not disabled, a lot of your food and oil are going out the window! ... 8)

Yes! Absolutely! Also, don't build barracks in all your core provinces. It doesn't work

Agree 100% ... The only place that I build barracks for sure is the capital- for I love getting commandoes! ... :thumbup:

Ahh Cuba. Blech.

quite possibly the WORST starting country in the "All-In" event. Yeah,even worse than the Free City.

The Netherlands is pretty bad too,but they have holdings in the Dutch East Indies that one can work with.

I'd play El Salvador before I attempt Cuba again...it's THAT bad.

I’m currently playing one of these games as Germany I basically conquered all of Europe and I have 500+ units but I have a massive food and oil shortage :(
