A new scenario is available for 22 generals to trail their strengths within the same territory as the existing map. Nations are evenly balanced, but tighter together resulting in a charged and more intensive mood.
Attached are all the details:
-Release of an entire new map: Europe for 22 players.
-Implementation of new map design and game graphics.
-Improvement of the resource balancing for the 10 player map Europe1932.
-Units which are embarking or disembarking are now vulnerable to both land and sea damage.
-Units which are changing sides after a revolt now have the same level that was already researched by the new owner.
-Rocket attacks now get an own article in the newspaper.
-Reduced the ranking points for cheap level 1 buildings.
-Normalized the ranking points for units (increased points for cheap units, reduced points for expensive units).
-Fixed a bug where armies could not be unified.
-Fixed a bug where diplomatic conversations did not update.
-Fixed a bug where the layout of the espionage list was broken.
-Improvement of server processes.

The only issue for me at the moment is that London and Hamburg are not connected to the sea.
Missing out two of the biggest ports in Europe. And in my opinion, especially Germany is hampered by the lack of a coastal city.
For the rest I'm happy with the update.

I don't think the lack of Hamburg, and London, having sea connections are a game breaking issue. But I agree that for purposes of realism that it should be altered. Granted, that would require the whole nation to be re-balanced to adjust for the increased port economy of the city.

The map is not historically accurate in the first place, to fit the additional 12 player slot, though I have not notice it till now but for the sake of realism then they should just delete the whole thing if that's what your asking.
If the issue is coastal for both London and Hamburg then just make do with other ports, it won't be fair since some countries was not change too much compare to others, but what are we gonna do? It's already there.

All they need to do is draw a road to the waterfront.
The cities are already adjacent to the water.

one problem I have run into on the new map is the Canada does not have enough food production at the start.
you can not build it up fast enough to be a playable country it is hard to build an army when you can not feed the troops you start with.
