Paratrooper Achievement

Attention Generals!

Today’s release will bring the new paratrooper achievement “Green Devil” to Call of War! Send paratroopers on missions and get rewards!

Any new paratrooper you built in the past will count towards the achievement retroactively. Your achievement will update as soon as you build a new paratrooper unit in a running game. On top of the new “Green Devil” achievement we also made some bug fixes.

General:

We added the “Green Devil” paratrooper achievement

Bugfixes:

We fixed an issue that sometimes caused duplicate entries in the newspaper resulting in negative effects on the performance of the game for effected players

We also want to give a big thank you to all our Frontline Pioneers who help us testing the research update on beta. According to your input we added some changes to the update on beta so please keep testing and share your feedback with us as it helps tremendously.

We hope you like the changes and the “Green Devil” achievement. We wish you best of luck on the battlefield!

Great stuff guys, but I think the Steam Achievements are still broken cause I haven't obtained the 4 achievements that are missing on my Steam profile (Fleet Destroyer 1, Green Beret 1, Blitzkrieg Soldier 1 and Mediterranean Master 1, and not to mention the progress that I got on many others wasn't registered as well) and that I have in my COW profile. Or maybe I have to actually join a match in order for them to pop up? Or maybe that progress is lost forever? What do you guys think? Can someone tell me if Steam is once again tracking achievement progress for COW? I made a post about this a few months ago here and if you need more info my COW ussername is Valewonca034 and this is my Steam profile here.

Hey Valewonca,

what you mention is a known bug, but should be fixed soon.

Actually, when I came home I logged into Steam and all the missing achievements popped up and looking at the time I unlocked them looks like it was shortly after I originally replied to this post. I am finally motivated to play COW again! Kepp up the good work guys.

So what about this achievement. My only ever scenarios with paratroopers, only meant me wasting them. I have never not destroyed any paratrooper tactic used against me. Given the possibilty of being seeded with mad coiners, I emplore any player to attempt paratrooping against me.

I think that with the adventation of this unit type there should come another unit, the spy, and can also make change enemy units to join your nation.
