Any idea when the bug causing defensive units to counterattack will be fixed? I was naively hopeful that would be included here.
Release Notes - 2022-06-21

Attention, General!
Today’s update contains new features for the Beta Client on desktop, as well as several bug fixes.
On the Beta Client the special skills of a unit are now highlighted in a separate section of the unit’s info window. This way you can easily look up which of your units have stealth capabilities, where they can be stationed or whether they are able to detect stealthed units.
We also fixed several bugs. The ability of players to trade their capital and core provinces was adjusted. To make matches fairer, capital cities can no longer be traded to other players. This fixes an issue where defenders were able to deny an attacker the bonuses for conquering a capital by trading the city to another player. For similar reasons, core provinces can no longer be traded away to another nation but can be traded back to the original owner should they have been conquered by another nation during a match.
Additionally, units on patrol won’t trade damage with stealth units anymore, and land units that disembark will no longer be locked in combat with sea units.
For a complete overview of this update, please check out the detailed Release Notes and share your feedback with us here on the Forums and our Discord Server.
Best of luck on your campaigns!

It is being worked on by devs in this moment. So hopefully with next release or the one after (we have to adhere to our release cycles).6thDragon wrote:

maybe also increase the number of non core province trades you can make?
I just noticed this part about the supply drops. I assumed them spawning exclusively in countries you were at war with was how it was. What is the likelihood now of them appearing in neutral countries if you are at war? What about in countries you are Allies with but not in a coalition yet?
I'm pretty sure they didn't exclusively spawn in enemy countries. I think the chance is the same for neutral and enemy provinces, and I've never had a supply drop in an ally's territory (unless they conquered it after it spawned).6thDragon wrote:

I've only been playing CoW for a year now but I don't remember ever having a supply drop appear in a neutral territory while I was at war. It's always been in hostile territory, if I was at war. That bug must have been around for a while.
Really? Just a few days ago I was invading Philippines as Borneo but a supply drop spawned in Sumatra...strange.6thDragon wrote:

Maybe that was after the update._Pyth0n_ wrote:

It was so reliable I adapted my day one strategy around it. That's okay, I was starting to think the day one supply drops were a little overpowered anyway.
This release has done away with the 10% morale bonus for capturing an enemy Capitol?
I just read that as them fixing a specific bug. Not changing it across the board. Hope I’m right…cycle9 wrote:

checked twice, in two games within the last few hours.
No bonus for capturing enemy capitols.
I would fill out a support ticket. I checked the release notes again and it said it fixed a problem with the morale boost occurring. Perhaps the fix to one issue caused another.cycle9 wrote:

and wait 3 weeks for no response?6thDragon wrote:

Wait,,,you get a response…no fair.
On a more serious note, good point, the tickets probably do go into a black hole or something. I’ve submitted several and rarely hear back.
Please tell me your secret for getting a response. I would really like to know where all my bug reports really end up.cycle9 wrote:

re-read the line:
"no response"
no response means there will be no reply!
Now that's the funniest joke I've heard in a whilecycle9 wrote:

...wait, you're being serious aren't you?

Hey, our QA tested this and could not verfiy this bug. In the tests the morale bonus was correctly added to all own provinces after capturing the capital.cycle9 wrote:

I like the new update.
Spoiler
I like the new update. I found this game by mistake. Actually, my little brother wants me to help him in searching for dissertation proofreading services online. He is not so good at writing essay assignments and that is why he never got high marks in his assignments. That is why he told me to help him in searching for a site online through which he can hire an essay writer.Post a Reply
