Map rebalance! The European map has received a major overhaul. Additionally, we are rolling out further balancing changes for War Bonds.
Most of us have started their journey in Call of War on the European Map, and many great battles have been fought on this all time classic. So what more reason could we need to make some key changes to this timeless battlefield, making sure it can be enjoyed well into the future!
The most striking change you’ll notice is the addition of major Rivers to the map. These create natural chokepoints all over the map, reshuffling the dynamics of troop movements and ideal placement of defensive positions. And even better, the new St Lawrence and Volga Rivers can be sailed by ships, allowing players to penetrate deep into the vast land masses at the edges of the map.
The other major change is the addition of Belarus as an NPC nation. This creates more neutral territory in central Europe. This gives the neighboring countries some much needed breathing room during the start of the map.
Further we changed the territory of the United Kingdom to be less spread out all over the map. For this reason we turned the territories of Bermuda and Melilla into new NPC nations.
We also made some important changes to the balancing of War Bonds. We received a lot of feedback about healing being overtuned, making it too easy to save units on the retreat from ranged attacks. Therefore we’ve increased the cost of healing these units that benefit the most from this tactic:
Motorized Infantry
Armored Cars
Strategic Bombers
Tactical Bombers
Further we also increased the cost of the Instant Spy Actions “Reveal Local Army” and “Country Information” by 50% to make these actions less efficient.
Finally we also reduced the amount of War Bonds available per gameday on the World at War and Free For All maps. This is a first test to see how a slower accumulation rate impacts gameplay. As always, the changes only apply to maps created after the update.

However maybe the bytro does not know, but it is not possible to introduce warships into the volga river, I understand that they must always find useless news, but then let’s directly go the ships to the mainland, It might make sense to introduce rivers, but it makes no sense to make the Volga navigable, it would be a non-existent thing

I think this is an amazing update - the addition of the Pan-Asian doctrine (despite being slightly illogical geographically) would completely change gameplay, and I think that adding more AI nations would make for a more fair chance of early game expansion.

Since you have started making changes to nations, could you unite Nationalist China with Communist China and Xinjiang? Currently it's not historical, and it frankly doesn't make sense.

They were not united, I think you are referring to the Chinese United front, yes they fought together agents japan, but they did not actually own each others lands. (plus in COW China gets of easier, there was more Chinese warlord states than shown, so COW N. China is actually larger than real life)

War bond is the worst update i ever seen. It will make me leave again this game. When people are too much stupid to plan a war , why do they need this kind of help ? they just wait and produce what they need to resist, this is ridiculous.
And it will never be good against gold user, i don't want to hear that argument, it's obvious that gold user got war bond AND gold ...
For exemple i'm in a map where the ennemy just produced in a few second what he need to beat my army ... i've got 24h of travel , wasted time. Brrrravvoooo! Thank you . It's just killing strategy.
I finish this one and an other with a guy and then i'll stop.

What I would like to see is speed rounds for every map type in the game. I only play speed rounds because normal speed is just too boring. Why can't we have a 4x speed round or faster for every map. And have them open all the time. Not just once a month or when you guys feel like running them. You only have 4 scenarios that run at 4x or faster, and you guys didn't run 2 of them this month. You were probably too busy revamping war bonds to keep the noobs from crying. and just for the record! I have a captains rank! LVL 129.
