There’s a noise like the historical sum of all cafeteria accidents everywhere.
Playing the Nuclear Eschaton since 2022.
Call of War’s July update delivers critical bug fixes, clearer battlefield information, and smoother gameplay. See what changed below:
Bug Fixes
Corrected a long standing visual bug that caused the terrain indicator icons to glitch out. Now even during long sessions the icons will correctly keep showing the terrain type of their province.
Fixed a critical bug that allowed stealth units with their fire control set to “return fire” or “hold fire” to pass through defended province centers.
Corrected a critical bug that caused Scout units to not reveal stealthed units correctly. This occurred when units of different stealth levels were part of the same stack. Now your scout units will correctly reveal stealth units of the same or lower level, regardless of stack composition.
Made it so that Nuclear Detonations now correctly apply their initial blast damage. If a province’s center is in the blast radius, it now correctly takes damage to buildings and province morale.
Fixed a visual bug that caused rockets to “bounce” upwards upon reaching their destination. Now they will tastefully hover (informing everyone on the ground of their impending doom), until the server refreshes and the damage from the detonation is calculated.
Addressed a bug that caused units to stop embarking after a delay order was issued to them. This caused units to start disembarking after the delay order was completed, rather than continuing their embarkation as intended.
Corrected unruly behaviour by the AI. Naval units controlled by the AI no longer prefer to attack the nodes connecting sealanes (sending valuable shells to bombard fish), but rather bombard the coastal provinces of enemy nations as intended.
Added missing info in the army bar for desktop. Planes on a direct attack order now display their travel time as intended, letting you stay on top of exact attack timings.
Fixed the wrong building level being displayed for buildings in the construction menu after queueing higher levels. This bug was on mobile only.
Updated the unit info window for Snipers and Level 3 Marines with the missing “Partial Stealth” ability.
On Battlefront Europe, changed the name of the “Constantinople” province to “Istanbul” to restore historical accuracy.
On Vaultbreaker, fixed a bug in the “Las Trincheras” province in Venezuela causing the province coordinates to be displayed as the province’s name.
Fixed a rounding bug that caused too many decimal values to be displayed when speeding up multiple construction/production orders at the same time. Now the window will show the amount of time saved by the speedup in a humanly understandable format.
Fixed a visual bug that showed booster cards as locked when claiming rewards from operations, even when they were ready for use.
Added some polish on the mobile main menu, upgrading the look of the buttons in the header.
