What exactly was this? I don't believe I understand the fix or the bug.Faey wrote:
- fixed bug that prevented units to get the extra combat tick when defeating an army in one blow

Generals,
as the warm winds of spring draw closer, the impacts of battles and war keep lingering in the air. Our informants sent us reports about several problems the generals had to deal with during their war campaigns. Those were investigated and resulted in the following improvements this week:
We hope you enjoy the improvements. Tell us your feedback in the forum.

When an army is defeated with only one blow, the unit normally gets an extra attack. This bug prevented getting the extra attack, but it's fixed now. I slightly changed the news post, hope it's clearer now.
Ah, allowing for a double attack! Now that I like!
Perfect! Good update.Faey wrote:

I know the xp is glitching, but will all score earned update and everyone will jump a few levels, or not?
I've been wondering, would it be possible/take a minimal amount of time to get the day to end at midnight instead of 1 A.M.? It bugs me that a new day begins an hour later than it should.
The game has the time of Germany.of Jophan wrote:

Not everyone in the world is dumb enough to change their clocks in the summer.
Daylight savings time is a relic of a forgotten era.
As it is, I have to recalculate the game time in my head as being +10 hours during daylight savings time and +9 hours the rest of the year. It would be nicer if the system automatically adjusted times in paper to reflect local times to your time zone.
I've just realized I'm already in error. It's +8 hours during daylight savings for me (pacific time zone).
It seemed like such a waste to destroy an entire battle station just to eliminate one man. But Charlie knew that it was the only way to ensure the absolute and total destruction of Quasi-duck, once and for all.It would just be easier going by GMT...
since then you can just go + or - and it is just a lot easier..

I basically do that. But since I live in the land of 12 hour clocks, the calculation still gets screwed up if I forget daylight savings time difference, AM-PM difference, west coast / east coast difference (I like to make news stories and give them a "press" time of New York even though I'm in PST), and to top all of that, the diplomacy menu is set to local time whereas the paper is set to German time (GMT?). So, there's a lot or reason to want the World Herald to adjust locally.

Just put everything onto GMT...
my solution..
