Dear Generals,
the circumstances of war sometimes demand forming an alliance to face the enemy together. From now on it is possible to unite with your allies in a coalition. For the time of one game round you can raise your own flag and use the coalition chat to discuss plans. In the top left-hand corner you can find the button for creating a coalition.
Furthermore, you now have the option to support your allies by speeding up their production of buildings or raising morale of their troops and provinces. This new Gold feature was enabled thanks to your feedback and is independent of coalitions.
We hope you like the new features. Let us know your opinion in the forum!

EDIT: I know people will be asking; it does not appear you can invite players. Rather, they will apply to your coalition and you then accept them.

Do the victory points "pool" to meet victory conditions like the team games do? Otherwise a coalition of 4 active players might not be able to end the game without breaking the coalition and attacking each other......If they do pool, it really opens the game up for more diplomacy as a viable option.

I knew someone would bring up changing our own flags, if so, as a community we need to show that we're grown up enough to not use offensive images.
S1914 allowed players to post images in the newspaper without HC, and that was abused. As long as we act like adults, hopefully more RP features will come.

One feature that would be nice is a notification, like when you have an open research slot, to the coalition leader than someone has applied. If this feature is already in place, it is not working.

About the coalition flags: I wasnt sure what to do because when I clicked choose flag it opened up the file directory to go look for one on my hard drive. It didnt take me to a list of options like i thought it would. I just searched EU flag tiff, and right clicked in the search results to save to my desk top. Then I selected it for the coalition flag and it worked fine. It appears you could put any flag there, whether it is home made or offensive.

I am having trouble with this new app. I created a new Coalition account, and others have tried to join but without success. I have received no notifications regarding others trying to join. Can someone please help me out?

It might take a few moments, but applications should show up in the "My Coalition" tab at the bottom.

When i am trying to set up my coalition, I am making it so that it was like the one during the cold war, with the USSR and the SSR and I'm trying to use a soviet union flag to make the war as real as possible for i am the soviet union in my game. can someone help me try to set it up.
