Today’s release will bring a new relation view mode to the enhanced graphics version (WebGL) of Call of War. This new view mode will make it easier for you to differentiate friends and foes. Friendly, enemy and neutral countries are highlighted in different colors. This handy feature allows you to identify hostile territories immediately. This new
mode will be set as standard view mode, but can be turned off in the game settings.
For details see the complete list of changes below:
General:
Implemented the relation view mode as standard view mode in the WebGL version
Implement new game setting to toggle relations view mode on and off
Removed the following unused view modes from game settings: Hide armies, hide resources, hide fog of war
Improved highlighting of activated view modes in the settings menu
Bugfixes:
Reduced memory usage of WebGL version
Reduced occurrence of units turning invisible significantly for the WebGL version
Province garrisons concealed by fog of war can no longer be identified via the cursor icon
Game will no longer freeze after the adviser reward popup is triggered
Recaptured core provinces of team members are now properly returned to the original owner
The display no longer turns partially white on iPhone 6 and iPhone X after sending messages after a trade offer
Fixed some layout issues in the shop
Fixed an issue that broke the tutorial during a research task
Fixed an issue where a part of the map was accessible during a step of the tutorial
Fixed missing flag images for some AI countries in the “Operation Supremacy” event map
The icons in the fire control settings are now centered
Fixed an issue where the level of a unit was not shown correctly in the event log
In addition to all of the above we will also release a new update to the research tech tree to beta games shortly. To all our Frontline Pioneers out there please help us test these new exciting changes and share your feedback with us!
We hope you like the changes and the new view mode and wish you good luck on the battlefield!

Hide resources is often used by war fighters to clear the display for combat maneuvers.
removing that option is just one more reason NOT to use the WebGL.

Thank you for adding this feature.
But for a better strategic view, I would like :
- to see the new colors in the Herald too.
- to have the same color for all my coalition.
- exactly the same grey for neutral counties but with a specific color for each other coalition members.
Neutral country : grey
Neutral but in coalition A : dark blue
Neutral but in coalition B : purple
...

I like the new feature but i also would like to see a different color for every alliance. On the Homefront map as a European for example i sometimes really need to search to find out which states are where on the map and how the coalition is formed geographically. Those colors would make it way more simple and player friendly.
Will the color blind mode be added for this feature?

I do use

I use hide fog of war all the time and many times hide armies when managing buildings and production of my extensive empire.

Hide armies is really good when you have tons of troops and a major campaign to just check what the front looks like visually, and determine geographic routes without pesky armies and movements. Please bring it back!

Hide resources is really handy. It clears up the screen. Moving the mouse over the trade bar always allows a player to view where resources are. Please return the feature. It is well used.

At the moment there are no plans for this, but we tried to make sure that colors used have different brightness, hoping that this might help.

Now this sounds very interesting. Can somebody give us an update on how this will look like (since not everyone in the forum is a beta tester)?

We will shortly open a feedback thread in the beta section of the forum. I suppose you will learn a lot from about this update and our frontline pioneers there.

Pytro can you please make poland a bit strong at least strong enough to resist the Germans and the Russians in the world in war server , the one that has 25 players

I miss being able to turn off displayed resources. Map is much less cluttered with it off and easier to see troops.

Game #2705264 on Chrome/PC. Relations button appears on the right. Turning it on changes the color scheme but not clear that gives any info on relations. None of the Tag icons anywhere.
Is this because round was in progress when change happened?

Removing the smoke and engagement widgets in the HTML5 GUI is a positive change for the warfighters.
Clears the display up nicely, so that troops are more visible.

you knkw what would be cool, adding a map of ww1 a 25 player game but it's ww1. It's my suggestion and some of my friends says it would be an awesome idea

There's a sister game called "Supremacy 1914", i haven't played it much but it would make more sense to play there to get the WWI feel.
