some time ago, a torn mysterious fragment of paper was found at a secluded shed. Since this discovery, scientists and the leading military strategists alike have been racking their brains to unravel the secret. During further inquiries the search parties have unearthed a strange metallic object, that seems to be somehow connected to the piece of paper.
There are no clear conclusions yet as to what these finds might be, but there is one aspect everybody agrees on: it has to be something quite valuable. Just what might this shape mean?
Let us know, what you think about this, generals.

Of course I am very interested to look at what you did. But I do think that the world map in the form of a rectangle and completely distort all the real proportions and distances - a bad idea. Cut Eurasia into two parts and make them on opposite sides - this is a very bad idea. This is a stupid idea! I understand that you want to make a map of where the war at sea is important - but it will look awful disgusting. If you want to make a beautiful and realistic, make two versions of the world map:
1. America <- Atlantic Ocean -> Eurasia.
2. Eurasia <- Pacific Ocean -> America
For you it will not be a lot of work, because all the parameters of these maps can be identical. But for all of us it will be much more interesting and more realistic

The Map and Globe are linked together...
My intelligence agency states that upon initial examining of "The Truth" and "The Fog", the two are linked together.
Further research from scientist on the theory of a True World Map that also allows ocean travel from one edge to the opposite edge (west coast Americas to Australia/Japan) is still being analyzed.

Nope im calling it, the world is (not sure how to word this) but basically connected? Meaning you can travel around the world, so if you were the US you can sail through europe, asia then back to the other side of the us. So its like it would be in real life. You travel from 1 side of the map to the other. Thats why there is a globe picture on the news feed

I believe the 'metallic object' is the globe of the world, shown in the 'News' section of callofwar.com
The past is a foreign country.
