This past weekend darkness spread everywhere on the battlefield and made our Generals tremble for a moment. The spooky times are over, but the fog of war couldn’t change back completely to its original form. Our well trained units will use this to their advantage.
Because of your awesome feedback during our Halloween Event we decided to not completely revert the the fog of war to the original value, but instead set it to a medium value that should be pleasant for everyone. The greater contrast will grant you a better overview over your visible areas.

It would be nice to have a setting that would allow for the fog to be on\off in all of our games without having to turn it off in every single game every single time we open them.
Im glad to see it darker, but how come we couldnt have left it as dark as it was during the event?
Was much better, we all loved it that dark
While the super dark fog had many fans, not everyone loved it.
Especially our marketing team doesn't want us to go too dark as it has some disadvantages when luring new players into our game 
That's why we set the value right in between the old and the darker fog as compromise.
there is an option for that, that option ahs been there for centuries. Click on right bottom pictogram so menu unfolds, ohw never knew you could make prety colours on provinces acording to morale neither? Or make your troops dissapear? :poceanhawk wrote:
