New games are expensive AF. I'm still playing games from the 1990's (some of which they still release DLC for).

That's because a different developer picked it up and started creating new DLC for it. You make it sound the original people are still releasing DLCs for it, which they aren't. It's like saying they are still releasing Half-Life updates because people keep modding it.

So if I buy the BF1 game a day before it is launched BF1 never actually gets launched? Makes sense. It doesn't matter what company makes the DLC, as long as they own the rights to the game. I think AoE even still have the same developers, just different publishers.Jacey521 wrote:

I don't even know what you are talking about? How does buying a game relate to what I said? Also, no, ENSEMBLE studios developed AoE and many games like it, they went bankrupt in like 2009. The new developers wanted to revive AoE and asked the original publisher and owner of the game, Microsoft, to be able to update it and put it back online. So, that's what they did. It's not the same game from 1999, yes, it has the same title, same story, same gameplay mechanics, but it is a completely updated and polished(somewhat) version of the original one. They released this new updated one around 2013.

The original game was made in 1999, and they are continuing to polish and update it. That's kind of unusual no matter who owns it.

Ahh memories. Battlefield 1942 was my first FPS with Medal of Honor . Carnt rember which was the first since i was 3

Anyways HOI 4 is amazing but abit buggy and derpy but its getting fixed 1 patch at a time. Also im trying to win as Bhutan which is hard AF. No Army, ww1 era research and no economy, resources or even people. Hardest nation to play.
