If you had the opportunity to go anywhere, where would you go? I would go to the land of my dreams. As soon as I(and only me ) steps across the border, I can literally do anything I want. Obviously this place is purely fictional.
Now, there are a couple rules to where you can actually go(so not really anywhere). You cannot go to the lands of deities e.g. Heaven because, well, you don't screw with God's in their homeland and you will have an awful time of. As for the other rule(to make it a couple), you cannot commit war crimes and the like. Since that is just going to get the thread closed.
Now, I think we can have fun with this if we all come up with little stories and such of what we would do there.

Check out my SPAA thread and some para threads and basically any time I have talked about units. Whenever I talk about new/current units, people agree with me.
It would give the media something to right about too and they could test out that piece of crap F-35 in proper ground strikes for giving Marines etc. CAS.

It was a joke Bill.
The media would still do what the media wants to do. Stuff about trump and racism in the country lol.
If you give them a weapon and they shoot at you, they are a terrorist. That's how you tell.

OK, so which terrorist group is the U.S. giving weapons to?
The past is a foreign country.

More or less just radical people in militias not really terrorists, until they decide to join Isis. The weapons may originally find themselves in good hands but within the chaos of the region the guns can change hands fast, especially when people in one group may not actually share the same goals as their "allies" for the future or the region. Since originally people of different ideals joined together against Assad in revolt that cohesion broke down when ISIS became a major player, now the former rebel groups tore themselves apart as elements sided with ISIS. Only reliable groups to invest in are Kurdish, anyone else cannot be trusted.

Exactly, but the U.S is not supplying weapons to terrorists directly, they're supplying them indirectly.

We don't know what we are doing over there.

Lol, I agree. Complete chaos. We should send our armies there, not let others fight for us.

I would like to know what would happen if we did what the Brits and such did before WWII during the Spanish Civil War.
Set up a volunteer force to go over there and try kick their asses.

Many Spanish guys are going there illegally to fight for the Kurds, (not I.S.) but the Spanish government doesn't let people go there legally. So if we set up a volunteer force, we arm them with everything we've got, and send them over there, we kick as*.

Why the Hell would they fight the Kurds?

That would have potential if used to support the Kurds, some people have already went to do that in fact. But we lack the motivation politically, we just don't have the leadership.

Who cares about politics? Sure, you may go over there illegally, possibly die and such, but when you came back I would have faith that when you came back that(if) you were arrested, the media would get you out. Especially if you documented it on a small camera.

It would be used to support the Kurds. What I meant by people going illegally to fight for the Kurds is that governments are not making it easy for the volunteers.
