Anyone a motorcycle enthusiast?

I personally really like all Supersport (was about to get my A2 license for Yamaha R6, thanks Coronavirus), Cafe racers and pre-WWII motorcycles such as BMW R12 & R51, Triumph 6/1, Scott Model 3S and etc. I also appreciate the naked but if ever had the chance I would only buy Yamaha MT 10. I'll save trying the touring motorcycles for when I retire, and go traveling the world. What about you?

Howdy... I have been an enthusiast since my first ride back in 1968. I learned on the Caribbean island I have now retired to (St Vincent...I was born in Canada) and currently have a Kawasaki KLR 650 2010 model. I did some production racing in the mid 70s on a kawasaki s2 350 at Mosport Ontario Ca and Sanair Quebec, toured Canada and States on a Suzuki GS 750 in the early 80s. My favorite bike was my 1998 Kawasaki ZX9R. Good to hear from another motorcyclist :)

Doing a great job in the forum gang sir.

I think when your saying:

motorcycle enthusiast

it’s mean motorised infrantry

OR it’s machenized infrantry

He's talking about real motorcycles not mechanized infantry

Don't own one but I've been passenger on a couple. Hoping to get one in the future but until then I'm happy just to roll down the car window when they pass

I wrecked; I'm done.

Best bike I was ever on the back of (I don't have a licence and I was also too young to even legally own a 1050 CC bike at the time lol) was a Triumph Sprint ST 1050, that thing was like a rocket. Driver pushed it up to 200 on the motorway, he could duck behind the windshield but I wasn't so lucky, I had to hold on for dear life haha. Would definitely do it again, hopefully as the driver next time.

It's the truth. You don't steer a horse by any means and you certainly don't drive one. You may steer a bike but you don't drive one.

What's the fastest you guys have gone on a bike? I swear I'm not a cop :P

*Actually you steer a horse with your legs and reins or else it would be pointless to use them as a mode of transport

There's one?

Fastest was 300kph or that's where the speedo stopped, stick out your knee and you change 2 lanes. Joey Dunlop was my hero.. he once said.. 'there is a gray blur and a green blur, stay on the gray blur'

Indeed, stay within the grey blur! Lol. Kwaka GPz900R was my toy back in the day, 80's/90's. Even then she'd hit 150mph/240Kmh, although riding pillion on a Kwak ZX10 at 160mph/257kmh was far more terrifying with barely a grab rail to hang on to. The wind pressure was almost lifting me from the seat.

You certainly feel alive after a run like that.

Some people live in the 'now'....motorcyclists live in the 'right now'

Just why? I get a ban warning and an exclusive avatar feature for a Michael Jackson meme from the germans because it breaks their law, yet you are still here and allowed to do this :wallbash
