Beatles Vs The Rolling Stones

It's a pretty simple question: Who's the better band.

(I'm a fan of both, and it could be a tight one)

Overall, the Beatles' songs are better, but the Rolling Stones have some songs that are better than the best Beatles' song (e.g. Sympathy for the Devil). So I'm going for the Stones.

The past is a foreign country.

My dad is from Liverpool so I have to go Beatles.

British=best. Duh!

I don't really care but I like 'Start Me Up' by Rolling Stones and 'Here Comes The Sun' by the Beatles, so I'II just go with... Eh... Rolling Stones.

-Me to. You ever heard the Guns n' Roses version? If not, just youtube it.

I prefer to The Beatles.

Both of them are amazing bands, and as I said at the top, I'd be and has been a close, difficult decision.

The Beatles changed music.

The Beatles and the Stones both changed music, but I'll agree with you that the Beatles changed music in a more profound way. But, as Pablo wrote, The Stones had some better songs and arguably beat even the best Beatles songs, so I gotta stay more less neutral in this. (They're both AMAZING bands)

@Liberinsula

The Beatles were the best ...

I'm afraid they're not the best band. AC/DC and the Doors are considerably superior.

The past is a foreign country.

Well if blood rush is a favourable past time then I think your right about ACDC, I believe the common saying, "ACDC saved the ironman movie"
