Everyone has to start somewhere, trip fall and make blunders hear and there to improve. Some of those blunders are ridiculous, and I would like to share some of them between the community. I am not forcing anyone to post anything they are too unconformable sharing, just the amusing ones that you think you are ready to have out there. Here is my list:
1. largest army ever: 319 militia without anything else
2. 21 subs in the same stack, hunting ships in the pacific
3. Nuking a town, because there was a level 5 industrial complex, while the enemy was gathering troops on the other side.

This isn't too early, as this happened a couple months ago, but I still wanted to share. One time I played as Papua New Guinea in the Pacific Conquest map. One thing you should know about me is that i love islands, so I had the idea to grab as many islands as possible before others get them. I ended up grabbing every single island west of California and east of Japan. One big problem... There was a reason why the islands were so easy to get. There was a powerful coalition in America, and another one in Asia, who just got done conquering their respective continents, and the only way to win the game was to cross the Pacific. I was an independent country with every single island north and south between North America and Asia, which has to be crossed in order to win the game.
I didn't last long after that.

I told people who where inactive (remember this was back in feb 2017 when things where different) to join my coalition when in reality I was the last one left so I just built up a huge fleet and did nothing
I also decided to just abandon my country and just got like a 50 unit squad on a 100p map to just wreck havoc but they all got sunk by submarines in like a day
My early days were pretty rough i'd say

I remember just nuking AI all the time lol. Played gold matches just to do it xD

Dropping over 600k gold into one round.
Yes reach through the screen and slap me hard

I also used to think that leaving undefended and unattended aircraft carriers in the Atlantic between Africa and south America to let my aircrafts cross the ocean faster was a good Idea. I lost quite a bit of resources from that expenditure.

Nuke, that's still an excellent idea if you provide the carrier(s) with proper escorts -- a minimum of two destroyer squadrons as escorts per CV, and it's better if you use three or four DD squadrons per CV. And if you have an opponent or two with roaming cruisers and/or battleships in the Atlantic, add a BB to your escorts.
I've never lost a capital ship (CVs and BBs) in 21 games. That's not an accident, and there are two reasons for it. First, as I said, I provide an appropriate number of escorts for my CVs and BBs. I've lost a few DDs, but never a battlewagon or carrier. Even in the real world, that's the job of the DD: sacrifice themselves, if necessary, to protect the Big Boys.
Second, I practice the "shoot and scoot" with my BBs and hit-and-run air strikes with my CVs. Players who slam their big battle fleet into an opponent's big battle fleet ("melee combat") are idiots. All that does is ensure maximum losses for both sides with the outcome of the battle still in doubt. The in-game BBs have superior naval gunfire range, with a significant bump at L4; smart players use it.

My friend once sent a nuclear bomber to take over a province instead of just nuking it...

I tried to nuke a militia that was heading for an unprotected province, but my ally was all "What the flip dude!?" and I was all, "I'm a girl".
Okay, heres one you can laugh at. For the first half dozen or so games I played, I knew nothing about SBDE, and I didnt trust patrolling. So I had stacks of 100 tac bombers all operating on direct attack. It wasnt until I read the forum that I changed this behavior. Funny thing is, I actually won a couple of games.
Thanks, Parumnac. Your air power thread was the single greatest help to me in the forum!

Sadly, no matter what the SBDE, 100 tacs are deadly against invasion troops. RIP 3rd tank destroyer squadron.
Yes, Inj. I think 100 tacs would have an SBDE of about 15% or so, so effectively a 100 stack has the strength of about 15 planes operating at 100% efficiency. And 15 tacs are pretty strong. But, if I had put them in 20 stacks of 5, I would have been roughly 7 times more effective.

Exactly.
I forgot to provide proper defences for the carrier, and they were sunk by subs.

I can't really name many blunders... Besides just dropping out of games. There was the time I had planes in enemy lands, and then I declared war cause I got mad. Planes didn't conquer any land. So I had to send a tank army(numbering like 30 tanks) rushing over from the border of the Soviet union to go save my planes(among them a couple nuke bombers). But that wasn't really a 'blunder'. That was just me not knowing what would happen, and thought they might be able to claim land. DIdn't end up losing any of the planes in question, and the remaining nuke bombers went on to nuke a couple cities.
Actually, I think there is *one* blunder I've had, that I can actually remember very well. First time playing the PL, I did my usual tactic of rushing my troops to the frontline to push my borders out the moment the peace timer ended. And then I got naval invaded hard with no way to defend it, and scrambled to build up some fortifications and other things before I lost it all. RIP Alaska. Apparently the AI that took over for me afterwards managed to do a bunch after I was gone. Only reason I know that is because of the daily announcement done on the forums for the PL.

This one is not so much funny as it is stupid, but I used to Build capitols in 5 provinces at the same time. all the resources went down the into the red in those games.

Uhhhhh.... not meaning to be rude, but do you have any common sense at all? xD

My biggest mistake was letting my brother play for me while I was away, he attacked every country he could with militia. When I got back I had only a few provinces left and no units. And this was my first 100p game.
One day I looked at the map and wondered why a province had turned blue/green.
I tried to click on it and I couldn't.
It didn't have any roads
It didn't have any province center
There wasn't any label
So my first thought was some sort of bug. I asked around if anyone had ever seen something like this before, and nobody had.
I was about to send in a bug report when I realized I was looking at a LAKE, not a province.
