Crimea- Russian or Ukrainian
We all know that last year, the Russian federation held elections in Crimea to determine whether or not the Crimea should Return to Russian administration or stay as Ukrainian territory. The Crimeans voted overwhelmingly to become Russian which provoked tears and tantrums from the western world. I would like to know, do you think Crimea is Russian, or Ukrainian?I

I have to admit the German invasion of austria was one of the most half-assed invasions in history. They had no opposition but still German troops got lost, tanks ran out of fuel and forced them to pull up to a petrol station. Imagine working at that petrol station with a column of tanks filling up and some german officers looking at tourist maps.

I was reading this funny fact WW2 book, and there were like two pages dedicated to the use of maps in the army. At Dunkirk, the British had to steal Michelin guides from public libraries, and so did the Germans.
