He's sending artillery on a direct assault into the fort.
Oh, that's all? He's just being foolish and wasteful of his artillery? You might want to take a minute and explain the benefits of using indirect artillery fire (and naval gunfire) vs. using your artillery units as assault infantry -- for the benefit of the rookies who may be reading this.Quasi-duck wrote:

Lol well I assumed that would be a given. For the rookies, if click the attack button when using arty and then select a province or unit, the arty will bombard the enemy rather than go into a fight, where they will get killed as artillery cannot fight in "melee" combat.MontanaBB wrote:

oh lol you posted that here. I am the one playing turkey in that match, the USSR guy tried to pull back his arty but it was too late and I chased it down with tanks

Yeah and his main assault into Turkey is terrible and artillery took point for most of it, it was never going anywhere.

yeah, I watched that whole thing go down. Looked like he actually sent some useful units in later, but eh.Quasi-duck wrote:

RIP Russia
you are a balls
Yeah he didn't do very well. Tbh should've just SS'd that entire match lol.
Judging from the hasty unit cover up, I suppose Turkey has an an armored car and infantry stack of sorts. Rip Artillery

My parents once told me not to play with matches, so I built a flamethrower
Lol I guess I didn't do such a good job of covering it up.NukeRaider33 wrote:

Lol will do, thanks. That is much better.
the arty was sent using move command, but you have not taking into account that (if used) HC fire-control will stop the arty from going in to CQC
Perhaps, but I would not use HC myself so this would not immediately spring to mind. The arty does not seem to have a firing type showing though so idk if he is HC or not.MadMike69 wrote:

Even if he was planning on firing from a distance, sending arty unprotected like that is a poor choice. As I sent out fast light tanks and AC to chase them down and destroy before running back

Yeah and if you had bombers he would have had no chance.

Or if you had some Arty, hidden in that Armoured car stack
