When updating the language pack, apparently it was an en-us pack, while before it was an en-gb pack. The flag is determined by the iso code of the language pack.
It can be changed however. How about adding a poll to check?
Should the English language forum have an English flag? After all. The English, created, cultivated, taught and exported this language around the world.

I'm too old to know what and ISO code is, unless I'm just really not paying attention? I think you know what my vote will be though lol
The Union Jack would be cool, yeah.
nice to be on a form when we can out vote the americans
I would suggest putting a half and half icon, just so noone feels left out (I would love an English flag though, if I had to pick between the two)
com'on kal, you know you want the British flag on its own
Rule Britannia!
But American isn't a language, it really has no place as a representative of the English language. Sure it has it's "American English" but that isn't an option here. The EN server is.

Lol, I follow whoever is spoofing her.
I am not familiar with the term 'spoofing'.comrade dave wrote:

I thought about that but its not possible.
The icon is hardcoded and depends on the iso code. I could change the iso from en-us to en-gb and hence it would change the flag but still its either / or.
But what about the Canadians? And Australians? And the Antigua and Barbudans?
Uk. *Crosses arms in toddler-like strop*

The funny thing is that the USA doesn't even have English as its national official language
I meant like their flag should be included toocomrade dave wrote:

It's quite simple EN stands for English meaning the English language, which originated from, you guessed it, England. This language was exported around the world during the age of Imperialism and is spoken by many. This means it has variations depending on the country of residence. (For example the U.S. say fries we say Chips)
It would be astoundingly ridiculous to give the EN server a Canadian or Australian, or Maltese, or Chinese (Some chinese chaps speak English yet you wouldn't give the EN server that flag now would you?) or even U.S. flag because they are not where the language comes from.
We see the French server has the French flag and yet lots of African nations speak French but they aren't used for the flag are they? Quite simple, English language=English flag.
(I don't want to fall out with anybody over this, just telling people how I think it should go)
