Existentialistic Question

I have been kind of thinking... what is the point of winning a game in Call of War? (Yes, I know it's for fun. But humour me.)

Think about it. You win a game, you get gold. What do you do with that gold? You use it to help you win more games. What do you do when you win a game? You get gold. What do you do with that gold? You use it to help you win more games. See, it is all circular and shows that there really is no point to winning a game in Call of War.

WARNING: POSSIBLY DEPRESSING STUFF

SpoilerThis is much bigger than CoW. What is the point of life in general? No matter what we do, we will inevitably die, and so will our children, and our grand children. Eventually, there may come a time when the last human dies. All that has been accomplished will be in vain. So what keeps us from just giving up? Why do we keep pushing to accomplish something that we know will be in vain? All we can really do is keep "playing" and hope for the best.

In a way, the above answers your question. Why do we play? Because we do. Its what almost every human has done for all of history.

As with every person at one point in his/her life, I have thought about this topic a lot. I have spoken to friends, parents, etc. and have concluded that in the end, nothing will matter except Jesus Christ. Happiness in the moment is important; if there is ultimately no point, instead of asking why, ask why not?

Which is why I don't do laundry, because who wants to do laundry on the last day of your life? :P

P.S. Depressing stuff ahead

Mate, as @GreatbigHippo said, what is the point of life anyway? A teacher of mine says it reproducing (*sighs*), but it isn't true, because many people don't do that. The point of life, in my opinion, is dying. The point of life is living with the knowledge that you're going to die, and putting up with it. That's why I want to join the army and die quickly, say a shot in the head while doing something heroic. We're all going to die. If you die quickly, painlessly, and everyone remembers you because of what you've done, that's a perfect life for me.

The past is a foreign country.

Depressing Stuff Ahead!

SpoilerBy your reasoning, which is nothing will matter and everything will die, what is the point of being remembered? The people who remember you will eventually die and your memory will die.

Idk man, from that logic I could say Adolf's life was a perfect one to live. Everyone remembers what Adolf did and it's mostly negative. I don't want to be remembered for something negative.

I didn't think about it that way, either.
