I haven't seen a favorite music thread yet... So here's the first. I am a big fan of music in general, and I listen to many genres. I'm curious to know what genres of music/bands/singers/songs that people like. Try not to be hateful towards each other. 
Don't be shy about posting what music you like. I have been listening to Shania Twain and Oasis lately. Two polar opposites. Tell me what you like.

I listen to a lot of music genres too but my favorite is rock(including alt and indie). My favorite band is either Dead Sara or Blood Red Shoes but I don't listen to all their songs, only about 2-3 of each band(usually I would only go for one).
My favorite is a mix of pop rock. I grew up with Maroon 5, which is probably my favorite band( favorite albums is Songs about Jane and Hands All Over, and I love every song). I dont like the approach they are taking now btw. I like 90's rock with occasional 70s and 80s. Red Hot Chili Peppers and Third Eye Blind. Def leppard is pretty good. The Killers are awesome. I have a whole list lol.
First records I had at 4 years old to play on my 'Fisher Price' record player was Iron Maiden's 'Number of the Beast', Michael Jackson's 'Beat it' single and something by Cyndi Lauper.....likely with the song 'Girls just wanna have fun'......
later I got into Tom Waits, love listening to the Beatles and the Stones....

These days I am listening to Wolf Parade quite a bit. formed in Montreal PQ....like to hear local stuff as well...

Hahaha I love the Fisher Price story. They dont make em like they used to nowadays I guess. You have a huge variety of genres you like from the looks of it. Metal to Pop to Rock. Wolf Parade is Canadian which reminded me of another Canadian singer. I like Michael Buble's song Everything. For some reason the melody reminds me of Toy Story. Its okay. Just keep in mind everyone here will have different tastes in music. I like that song because of the memories it helps bring. Musically I think it is good as well. I grew up listening to a lot of Sinatra and Buble is a modern day Sinatra. 
Juice Leskinen, Eppu Normaali are pretty good.

I love the album Turn Blue. The song Weight Of Love and Gotta Getaway.
I personally only like a few genres of music. Which are basically Country, Classic Rock, and Metal (Not all metal, certain sub-genres though.) My all time favorite band would have to be either Stratovarious or Hammerfall.
I like some country because my mom used to play it back in the day lol. I do like some Brad Paisley and Faith Hill every so often.
I like a lot of the older music myself. Alan Jackson, Travis Tritt. Good music
