Favorite ww1 and/or ww2 books?
my personal favorites are to The Last Man and The Steel Wave, both written by Jeff Shaara. the books include important people like John J. Pershing, Raoul Lufbery, and Manfred von Richthofen from ww1, and Erwin Rommel, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Winston Churchill, and George S. Patton from ww2. Good reads, plus Jeff Shaara also has other books that take place during the Revolutionary war, the Civil war, 2 more books for ww2, the Korean war, Vietnam, Etc..

Hitler Military Commander by Rupert Matthews
Man in the High Castle by Philip K.Dick (this is an alternate history book but still an amazing good read)

Hmm, i like D-Day by Bryan Perrett. Its about a young man joining the army late in the war and becomes an officer, and its about him getting used to command and then taking part in the march to berlin. Admittedly D-Day doesn't go as deep as other stories and the plot may be a bit basic and short but i like the fact its easy to read and reasonably entertaining. Though its my only ww2 book since i usually have non-fiction books on ww2.
