Only name changing. Without the flag change, I've already seen like 10 alliances with Nazi flags.
Flag Changing, Etc...
Well, I have a vision. One which I briefly discussed with McSquiggles on the global chat. I think that as the leader of a nation in CoW, you should be able to change your flag if desired. Also, it would be nice to be able to change your nation's name.

-I see your point, though maybe there'd be a way to allow the flags still be changed. Say, have the flag be approved by moderators? (or something like that, but with controls on flags)Pablo22510 wrote:

Name changes can also involve National Socialist or Fascist titles. I vote neither and to keep it as it is. It's more trouble than it's worth, I come here for the gameplay, not the ability to create my own flags/titles.
-Valid point, though I still think if an efficient way of managing both flags and titles would at a nice bit of customization.purplepizza117 wrote:

Possibly, but unfortunately, people do not follow the rules most of the time and they would need Moderators to, well, moderate it.Liberinsula wrote:

You'd need hundreds of mods to control everything.Liberinsula wrote:

Yes, but remember the name of the German leader on the Blitzkrieg map before a player takes it is Adolf Hitler, and in Italy it's Mussolini.purplepizza117 wrote:

I was chatting about that with my friend recently. It could make some criticism come Call of War's way.Pablo22510 wrote:

Not really mate. It's our pasts, whether we liked it or not. In Spain we had a Fascist dictator called Franco, he murdered quite a lot of people, but he also built many hospitals, infrastructure, etc. Plus he gave a big importance to the Army. Spain's defense budget is only 0.9% of its GDP
Back on topic. I don't think it'll bring much criticism.
Maybe. I suppose we could try it out, but I am still against it. (There is no hurt if you try something for a little while)
Points raised above to make it clear that these changes would require a great deal of moderation. But, given a manner of policing it that is both effective and efficient, I hold firm to my belief that these would be a nice addition.
Like I stated above, we could try for maybe a week or so and see how it goes...

It is a suggestion that can wait , it's not a priority.
"I came, I saw, I conquered" Written in a report to Rome 47 B.C., after conquering Pharnaces at Zela in Asia Minor in just five days; as quoted in Life of Caesar by Plutarch; reported to have been inscribed on one of the decorated wagons in the Pontic triumph, in Lives of the Twelve Caesars, Julius, by Suetonius.
"Alea iacta est" Gaius Julius Caesar.
Fair enough, though bare in mind this is strictly hypothetical at this point.George Washington. wrote:

Yes, I agree with @George Washington. We have other priorities, but it could be an idea for the future.
Right.
You guys are right. Probably not the biggest priority right now, but I think it should get a fair chance to become part of the game sometime in the future.
