Funny WWII Pictures

After checking out a couple sites on the USSR in WWII and the music, I came across a lot of USSR troops and civilians posing in funny ways and doing funny things in the pictures so I came up with an idea.

We post funny pictures of Allied troops during WWII

Rules: Avoid Nazi stuff and no grotesque mutilations or dead people.

Hey guys...

Great thread! That pic with the duckfaces... Can I have the brunette ?

One thing though... the sleeping tiger... isn't. BBB was actually right. it was a king tiger(henschel turret) that was taken out by arty... you can tell by several things...

1) The turret mantlet- only late tiger2's, jagdtigers and schamlturm panthers had the conical mantlet.

2) The number of roadwheels - tigers and panthers had 8, kt's had 9 between sprocket and idler on the tracks.

3) kt(h) was the only german tank to have the rear armor sloped that way, with the towhook integral to the sidewall

4) The turret had 2 sets of track hooks on it, only kt(p)'s and kt((h)'s had more than one set

5) The sidewall of the turret had a single plane elliptic curve... only tank of the war to have such.

6) The kt(h) had a flat plate for the turret face, the kt(p) had a pronounced curve horizontally across the face

so... kt(h)

now for MY funny pic...

the caption didn't paste right... it was "NOW will you drive where I tell you?"

You have to click view image source, its not small just very long (Button on the right when you click on the image and get the image viewer)
