lot worse.. none of them would have had jobs
Oh, so you're a fan of slave labour then?
How did you bring slaves in to this?
so lets propose, we up the min wage to 17 euros an hour..
People will lose their jobs
People will work less hours
Younger workers, with little or no experience will lose their chances of getting one of these jobs
Machines will be a better option, that workers
Prices in stores will go up
More and more people will now go onto the social welfare
which is being paid by employers.. who would hire the people on welfare, but cant cos they cant pay that much..
so I run a small business.. I want to hire a worker called, josh and josh wants me to hire him, he has no skills, or experience, but wants to start off. But the job I have for him is worth 15 euros, rather than 17 euros
The job its self is only worth 7euro, this may be stacking the pineapples on the shelves or sweeping etc
but now the government says I can only pay him 17euro..
so he doesnt get the job, and I then gotta to give my money to the tax man, to go to his pocket, and guess what
he doesnt want that, cos he wont be able to start at the bottom, on the low wage he wont get the skills to progress, or get the chance at more work
and I am still giving money to him, and he isnt benefiting society!
Biggest load of SH15 I have ever heard from leftest like you
just say the first thing that pops into your mind, without thinking it through
it does no good for anybody, and just hurts everybody..
Abolish the Min wage = unemployment drops..
