Good, I'm glad I got the polar bears across, @oceanhawk! They are the perfect representative of global warming.
Global Warming?
Well, recently I came across a few people saying Global warming is a lot of BS, or something like that. I am not very informed on this topic, and well Im happy to admit that.
I think we are not being told some things, regarding the "Global warming idea" , and I know that the polar ice caps bloddy well grew, but to those who were saying, its a hoax. Can you explain to me why?, I aint trying to debate, I have no clue just want to hear what you are saying, thks
whoever else has something, I should know, pls post
Thks guys

Tell that to the politicians driving Hummers on the streets burning 10 liters per 1 km.

LOL and you know what Pablo thinks: he thinks that global warming is a hoax and a conspiracy. He thinks that the temperatures are acctually falling and that the water levels are falling too. That was in school and I wanted to punch him so much, but I resisted my anger.

Why does he think that...?
I don't know, ask him when he gets his bann off. But, he thinks it's a conspiracy.Quasi-duck wrote:

Stay on topic.
--- Global Warming is real. On one hand, you have scientific proof. On the other hand, you have people who simply say they do not "believe" in Global Warming. Calling these people skeptics is to much as well, considering a skeptic has proof on their end to dispute with.
---The World is already screwed. From new documents that were leaked, Oil and Gas companies knew how all of this would screw up the world for a very, very long time
"Global warming itself is true, but perhaps the human factors are somewhat of a hoax. There's just too much conspiracy and skepticism going around that it's hard to tell what's even true and what isn't. Government agencies lie all the time, (including NASA, CIA, NSA, etc.), and others. At this point, best kind of research is done by independent scientists, universities, etc. If they can prove most of it was man-made, then the debate is over."
Nonsense.
Conspiracy? Do you mean the fools that go around with no proof at all, making up wild theories and nonsense?
Skeptics? Mostly the above calling themselves a different name, or paid Republican shills.
Enough research has been done. You simply are not looking at it.

Just curious, but what if they made a Call of War map if the polar ice caps had melted?

Simple fact. Ice occupies more volume than water. That's why if you put water in a glass bottle and then put the bottle in the freezer, it'll end up cracking, due to the ice. Soooo, if ice melts, it'll change to water, which occupies less space sooooo water levels go down. Proved using science.
Oh my God you're...... uh, wrong. Can't use other words. You're horribly wrong.Pablo22510 wrote:

Besides, Ocean should know this anyway 'cos he went to an Irish school, pretty sure science is compulsory in all/most of them.
Compulsory over here too. But I'd rather leave the topic: my friends, both online and irl, are angry at me. So buh-bye.Quasi-duck wrote:

Nah, it doesn't. In an open society, anyone can believe what they want.Quasi-duck wrote:

Yeah, like it serves you rightPablo22510 wrote:

I really hate when people say this. "It is a open society, I can believe in whatever I like!" - In an open and free society, we should presevere to eliminate ignorance, further knowledge, to grow and evolve.Pablo22510 wrote:

You are free to believe whatever you like, no matter how wrong it is, and as long as those beliefs never triumph over fact, never enter into the courtroom nor the Congress, that they remain only within your heart, until the day they vanish from the face of this Earth.

I was discussing it with a scientist the other day (well, more like 2 months ago). It's all about whether the ice that is above the surface will compensate for the decrease in sea levels due to the ice below the surface melting.CzarHellios wrote:

However, I'm a weird kind of climate change skeptic. I presume most of you believe the solution is going renewable, right? Well I do, too. That way we can stop pollution, stop financing terrorists and become self-sufficient.
