This dude needs to chill out! I've seen some pretty toxic gold use, but nothing compared to this 100 Player Map sight! Keep in mind it is now Day 51: this was three days ago.
Most folks are quick to blame gold use when their skills fail them in battle.
I feel like you are totally correct. there are however, people that legitimately have to deal with the "players" who do use outrageous amounts of gold. But how I see gold spammers is one ruined game for improvements on the game.

Of course there will be some cases of folk using outrageous amounts of gold. Its not as common as it seems though. Of course there will be players who spend a lot within a game, its bound to happen sometimes. But its not often, from my experience at least. Gold is what keeps this game free for everyone, it funds the company. It allows us to have new units, new maps etc. I think that is worth more than the rare times there are players who spend a lot of gold. You can either leave that round or fight to the end.
