I know you may think I’m copying the Guess the tank thread but this is just for amusement and to test how much u know history.

If by 'in Japan' you meant that it's a Japanese plane it could be: A6m Zero, A5m Claude, or that Tony in-line engine person from the end of the war.

If by 'in Japan' you mean that it actually strafed Japan, then it could be: F6F Hellcat, F4U Corsair, or maybe even a Seafire/Seahurricane.
