did you leave because of this battle experience ?

Not really, but it's complicated. I didn't get out for one singular reason.

I was only ever shot at once and didn't personally return fire. I was driving the lead vehicle of a convoy that was ambushed. My unit depended on me to continue driving us out of the ambush zone.

I worked in Human Intelligence and I did experience pressure to elevate questionable intelligence that supported the political narrative justifying the war. I shouldn't really go into detain considering the sensitive nature of human intelligence collection. I didn't appreciate politicizing intelligence collection and that resentment was a major factor in getting out.

it seems you are very lucky I guess at ambushes first and last vehicles at convoys usually get shot

Is it the game? or real life?

My father once said this: β€œIf you don’t know anything, don’t assume you know and don’t say anything you don’t know is true”
I always got annoyed when he said that, but to be honest he’s kinda right if you think about it
Have a good day!

Undoubtedly, the Bay W... erm, Coast Guard.
When the enemy is driven back, we have failed. When he is cut off, encircled and dispersed, we have succeeded.

Don’t forget about the army band. As proof of how badass they are, they get promoted directly to staff sergeant after they complete their basic training.
