Disclaimer: This game is not affiliated with Bytro, it is not free2play and it is also not a strategy game, that's why I post this in the off-topic forums. But the game has some tactical elements and a lot of Tanks, so maybe you'd like it Since it is not competition to Call of War and I am part of this community for a long time I hope Mods allow me to post it here *cough*

In Hyper Tanks you choose one of multiple Tank types and fight your way through countless futuristic Arenas. You control everything from a top-down view using either keyboard & mouse or a Controller. Shoot your way through hordes of enemies in the epic singleplayer campaign, or beat up your friends or AI players in various multiplayer modes (up to 4 players). The unique thing with the gameplay is that projectiles move relatively slow and also bounce off walls, so you have some time to evade and shoot tactically around corners. There are also various Powerups, Abilities and Special weapons that increase your destructive capabilities.

The game is still in development for a while, so you'd have to be patient. It will be a regular Indie game that you pay upfront for a low price, no ingame transactions.

I made a Discord server where I post development updates and gameplay showcases regularly. You can also chat there and ask questions. I would be glad to welcome you there. The server is English-only though, and please don't use it to ask me stuff about Bytro or Call of War. Thanks for your understanding!
