I chose japan firstly in world map I think japan is a dead country you have big distance between provinces you have to do embarking and disembarking you have only sakhalin, kuril, taiwan, okinawa all of them has soldier on every area is it real ?? every country has soldier on every area in every map ? until you develop yourself and have air power you should wait after ıf you are lucky you can destroy korea I havent see any southeast asian country or australia countries win game but everyone try to choose them first what do you think about japan or other countries on right bottom of map is it bad or good ? what are your tactics ?

Hello.
Japan is a nation that basically depends on trade and the conquest of neighboring nations, for example Korea.

Japan is an island, and its territory is this way.

If you are interested in tactics with Japan, you can look History of Japan in WWII. Basically, Japan was a power in the Pacific because of its Navy.
A greeting.

If played correctly, any nation can dominate. You only need know how to use what is given in your region.

you said japan is an navy country but I think navy is useless for every country and map
I only use submarines for sea wall like turkey etc.
while enemy reserach tank artillery you spend money and resource for this navy cant capture areas for you and you cant win game with navy even in japan you have to use air and land power japan good for fun maybe but not good for win
enemy can destroy his neighbours easily but you have to wait for research
and I said I didnt see any winner from australia or other asian countries in sea

You are sadly mistaken, if you know how to use Navy, you can rule an entire ocean, nay, the world.

I have yet to see a submarine take over a province.
I am extremely critical of naval strategies around the table, because I have yet to find an effective one so far. Now, I build submarines, destroyers, and carriers only because they are the most useful.

Have fun sending your troops into my shores unprotected. With naval escorts, you can sweep any subs lying in wait. With Battleships, you wreck unsuspecting beach-goers. Cruisers nail those little planes from the sky. Destroyer demoralise provinces. They all have a use. You guys should read the manual sometime.

From my experience, Philipines is even worse than Japan. too much hoping islands just to move troops around your own territories. I have done ok with Japan or other island groups in the past and I have found the biggest challenge is limited resources at the start. this is the same problem for Cuba. But the big advantage is if you can end up being the one player left with all the south pacific islands (and australia) after the first few weeks, you have a solid amount of resources coming in and can become a serious power in the late game when you make your push into Asia or America. And yes, a solid navy can prevent others from coming against you.

Personally I think because Japan did play a role in WW2 they should be in the game. All land masses in the world should be apart of this game.

Japan already has their skins done, which is 99% of the work done. The only thing you need to do is build a tech tree for them, which is pretty easy. I'll do one.
The past is a foreign country.

I love Japan as a nation! They are easy to expand from, and rather easy to defend due to the fact that you can rush soldiers from one side to the other in less than an hour.

Yes. I think they could start stronger on World Map, but they are easier to play than other nations.
