Well, probably. They supported him more because of the situation where you have to defend everything you have and he was the head of the country, but people cared more about their homes and families than about a leader.Quasi-duck wrote:
Actually, they did. There was a cult of personality. I read some of a book about the Night Witches and the rest of their unit, all they wanted to do was fly, serve the Motherland and Stalin.Paramunac wrote:
Stalin was probably terrible for his own people, they didn't fight for him but for their families and countrymen and that is what made the difference.

I really liked the response I got from my poll on heavy tanks so I thought I'd add a list for medium tanks as well. If someone thinks I missed a tank and should add one to the poll just let me know.

This is debatable on a person-to-person basis so we are both right.Paramunac wrote:

So through guys at the enemy until they run out of ammo, along with LRRP teams to make sure they run out of ammo faster?Quasi-duck wrote:

But still, work was done.Quasi-duck wrote:
Oh yeah, I forgot. Jewish and Soviet slave labour. Not like they never sabotaged anything. Oh wait.....

still making excuses for nazi Germany Pablo?)))
Do you know that Hitler took over the command because his generals couldn't deliver ( in Taking Moscow for example). So he thought he could do better.
Either way, Germany's fate was already sealee the moment they treacherously invaded USSR. Actually, it was not just Germany, it was most of Europe ( aside from UK and a few neutrals ) who did so, since they all either were allied to Germany or under it.
Also all the equipment that US sold to USSR is only roughly 4% if everything USSR has used in a war. So, don't overestimate the help of allies. Without USSR , Hitler would bring the war to their homes, and who knows what the world be like now
Oh, yes! The work that was done, such good work! Did you know that around 40% of V2's failed to even take-off because Jewish workers sabotaged them?Pablo22510 wrote:

That was a small cell, I mean the whole High Command.Pablo22510 wrote:

Oh sure, not like the Germans had extreme trouble regardless of strategic command because of valiance from Soviet forces. Oh wait, they did. Did you know that in one house, more Germans were killed than in the capture of Paris? In another, so many Germans were killed that Soviet troops would have to run outside and kick down the piles of dead bodies to prevent German troops taking cover behind them.Pablo22510 wrote:

- That means that 60% of the work was done.
- Small cell. Managed to move a 1,250,000 men to try and take over Germany.
- Sovs at Stalingrad:

Remember, the V2 didn't do very good anyway.Pablo22510 wrote:

Small cell of high rankers. Imagine if they all just straight up shot Hitler.Pablo22510 wrote:

I looked up that photo and got German dead at Stalingrad. Right next to it is the same picture, labelled dead Cossacks and horse. https://www.google.ie/search?q=german+dead+in+stalingrad&client=firefox-b-ab&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwi2wLaK-_XMAhWLJsAKHTMYBMsQ_AUIBygB#imgrc=zsxpPwik3dZzgM%3APablo22510 wrote:

Whatever. Hitler's fault. But I'm tired of this. We'll discuss about something elsewhere.Quasi-duck wrote:

Oh my Gooooooooooooooood! You can't just blame everything on Hitler! No matter what you say, the Germans could not hold any front as long as the one going from Leningrad to the Caucasus!Pablo22510 wrote:

They did until December '41.Quasi-duck wrote:

They did not! The tide turned in the USSR in 1943, no earlier and no later! Saying otherwise is untrue poppycock.Pablo22510 wrote:

Ok, so they held it until '43.Quasi-duck wrote:

That proves nothing. In fact, both the British and Americans tried to kill Hitler. Although, Hitler was the only man to ever kill Hitler. Though the Soviets did push him to it.oceanhawk wrote:

Lt. Colonel Something (can't remember his name), military attachΓ© to the Berlin embassy, said that from his balcony he could easily put a bullet through Hitler's head, as he lived in front of where Hitler often gave speeches. The SIS (aka MI6) didn't give him permission to do so under direct orders from Chamberlain.Quasi-duck wrote:
