I was hoping you'd say that, because LATER, under WSC, more or less the same plan was proposed, and he turned it down. Western countries did not attempt to kill Hitler as far as I know. German resistance did, and not sure about the Soviets. But if anyone planned to kill Hitler, it wasn't because he was a 'good' strategist, it was because it would cause confusion and near-anarchism in the III Reich, which would benefit people for different reasons.The past is a foreign country.
