Mock Presidential Race Pt. 3

Per popular demand, the Race is back! Same rules apply as previous races, however I will re-state some of the more important things in this thread,

-Everyone can run for president/PM/Chancellor

-Everyone can vote, whether you are a candidate or voter.

-Candidates can debate on this thread. Try to keep it semi-respectful otherwise I will request the thread to be closed under extreme circumstances (I'm pretty laid back on this, so don't be afraid)

-Voters may also question candidates and participate in debates.

-Voters may change votes at any time.

-If candidates wish to vote for another candidate they must resign from the race.

-New Rule: Candidates may NOT switch political parties to enable themselves to stay in race.

With all the rules Mumbo-jumbo aside now, let's get right into it!

First and foremost, the country you will all be running for is becoming the President of Germany!

Instead of setting political parties for you all to choose from, I am allowing you to pick any EXISTING political party in Germany. With the obvious exclusion of any sort of fascist, Nazi party due to Bytro's terms.

Check here often for updates or anything I add during the race. Everything will run relatively the same as the last 2!

Please format your application into the race as follows:

-Forum name

-Political Party you wish to represent

-Maybe give first address on some major issues

(Note: Bolding your application will increase the chances of me spotting it through all the debating! Adding this info will make it much easier for me to sort through things so I appreciate it !)

From there, the rest is up to you guys!

Good luck! Let's get RIOOGHHT into the debates :P

The party primaries will end September 16th!

Note: Any use of this format, or idea is prohibited on the Call of War Forums, unless consent is given by the creator- Vex03.

So...just how does Disney figure into all this? And which book are you talking about?
disney represents the fiction of the novel called, The Bible

its like believing toys have their own life just because you saw Toy Story or that fat orange cats can talk just because you saw Garfield.

One could hardly call the Bible a novel. It is a collection of many different writings in many different formats as God inspired men to put pen to paper, so to speak. You call it fiction. I call it the living words of God. It is literally an embodiment of a part of God's Son, His voice.

I don't believe this because of Disney or any other video producer. I don't believe this because of any preacher. I believe this because God speaks the words to me when I read them. You see, I recognize the voice of my creator. That's one of the perks of living the Christian life as a member of the Kingdom.

You and others say that you don't believe in God. That's OK. You will soon enough. Unfortunately, for some of you, it won't be until you are kneeling in front of Him while begging for a second chance at life after squandering all the opportunities He's given you to put your faith in Him. Jesus said it best when, addressing Thomas, He said "Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed is he that has not seen me and yet has believed."

Ironically, that is just seeing the human manifestation of Christ. I see Him, already, in the Spirit, in the Bible, in His creation, and in the souls of my fellow believers that -- like me -- have also been indwelt with His Holy Spirit. Like them, the Spirit of God is co-mingled with my spirit and that is something that no disbelief on your part or that of any others can ever rob me of.

Leave the toys and cartoons to children and start thinking about real grownup issues, like the condition of your spirit and your future. Let me know if you want to learn more about how to experience the indwelling of God's Spirit. I'd be happy to share that knowledge. Hint...it's not complicated.

I don't know if I'd really say I'm against Iraq, a few reasons....

-It prevented a future of Iraq and WMD's

-It toppled an anti-west regime, even if they weren't completely west yet, relations would have deteriated to the point they area

-The vacuum wasn't created because of the war itself in my opinion, but the way we left the region. (Thanks Obama...)

But despite that I am extremely pro trump.

But despite that I am extremely pro trump.

Just tonight, I ran into an old friend who just tried to convince me to vote for Trump. She said we had to do it as Christians because the alternative was just too...hideous. I told her that, to me, morality means more than economics, and she's a real Christian like me, but she said that I need to research Trump more -- like on the Internet -- and that I would be able to vote for him.

I told her that I was planning to probably not vote for President since all the choices are so ratty. But then she brings up the fact that voting for Trump is also voting for Mike Pence...whom she said is a really great Christian man. I don't know -- maybe he is -- but what are the chances that a Trump presidency would actually wind up falling to poor health or some kind of assassination attempt or another? You can't count on that. That is the wrong motivation.

The point is, you don't vote for the vice president, you vote for the president. And Donald Trump has a proven history of amoral behavior with potentially underhanded business dealings and whom just changed to "pro-life" a couple months before entering the race...for convenience. Donald Trump also has a history of supporting members of the Democratic party. But he's also done the same for members of the Republican party. So, clearly he isn't really a true Republican or Democrat...just an opportunist.

And I don't like opportunists. They excel on the backs of others.

But Hillary Clinton is no better! This is my dilemma. I am a Republican, but we've got just about the worst possible candidate and he actually still has somewhat of a chance to win this thing. At least if he were to win, he won't appoint blatant liberals to the Supreme Court and other federal positions. But it's not like I can trust him to truly vet any candidates.

Heck, remember John Roberts...the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court? He basically turned his back on the original intent of the founding fathers and endorsed Obamacare even though the federal government has no right to force the American citizens to buy anything...something for which Obamacare does to most citizens. Yes, it is a violation of one of our fundamental rights to be forced to buy something...anything!

But we are forced to purchase health insurance. That is a violation of my pursuit of happiness. And it's just plain wrong. But of course, Judge Roberts claimed that it's a "tax", not a purchase. That was a load of crock. So, even though George Bush tried really hard to put a good man on the Supreme Court, even he failed at it and we got the turncoat, Roberts. So who thinks Trump could do any better? And I think he'd do even worse.

But he's still not as bad as Hillary, right?

Here's the thing that really gets me riled. Some say "it is better to vote for the lesser of two evils". But, that just means you are voting for evil. That ain't right!!! I don't believe Trump when he claims to be a Christian, either. After all, not long after holding up his mother's Bible in front of a crowd and claiming to be a Christian -- at another rally -- he made the audacious claim that he never needed forgiveness from God. What kind of Christian could actually make that statement?!?

Real Christians know that it is only through repentance -- an acknowledgement and confession of one's own sin -- that a person can actually make a conscience and sincere decision to accept salvation by Christ. Without repentance, there is no salvation...because you can't ask for salvation and become a Christian without admitting you need to be saved. And Christians also know that all of humanity has sinned except for one man...and his name isn't Donald Trump. So Trump has lied about being a Christian. That's a big red flag!

I don't know if the latest sexual allegations against Trump are true. But if he lied about being a Christian, then why should I believe him when he says he didn't do anything to any of those women who say he's violated them in one way or another? Even if he only did one time out of all those accusations, then he's lying about being a terrible man towards women. Then we have at least two known lies. But, admittedly, those are accusations, not necessarily truth and -- quite often -- politics brings out the worst in people...even the accusers...just like Hillary.

So who do I vote for? A lying sack of who might just be Bill Clinton part Deux, or the wife of Bill Clinton...a woman who actively fought to suppress many of Bill Clinton's victims? Oh, I know...maybe I should vote for Governor Johnson...the pro-abortion libertarian? Ugh!!!!

I AM FRUSTRATED WITH AMERICA RIGHT NOW!

I think I need a Tylenol.

Oh, if only Ted Cruz could have rallied the troops better...

You say that ... and yet "Literally everyone" does not say this. I don't say this. "Invading Iraq" did not cause all this trouble today. I don't ascribe to that theory nor will I sit by and let you claim that "everybody" does. I'm a part of everybody and I don't agree with you. Therefore you made a factual error in your statement.
