Yes. The others have "recieved" a number of migrants as gifts.
The Democratic Republic of Afghanistan(DRA) was founded in 1978 through a coup d'etat. Certain Muslim factions rebelled against the new government, and per the DRA's request the Soviet army deployed forces to the area. Even now, in 1984, the Soviet's 40th Army and the self-proclaimed "Mujahideen" are still engaged in bitter conflict.

Europe has been forced quotas by Merkel because she has realised she can't take them all in, well over 3 million migrants are expected to arrive in Europe by the end of 2016, so actually every EU member has to have over 5000+ sometimes, in the UK's case 20,000+, I don't see the U.S. offering to take one for the team even though it was mostly their idea to kick the middle eastern hornet nest.

U.S. is thousands of clicks away, and they have Mexicans to deal with. And 'kicking the Middle East hornet nest' was everyone's foil-up.
The past is a foreign country.

Not really, the only actual problem is them not building a wall into the ocean and the fact they cannot stop narco subs.

Being thousands of miles away doesn't stop it from going over there and starting a fight and the Mexicans don't bring over Islamic extremists and Jihad monsters to the U.S, they're actually most of the time beneficial, who doesn't want a Mexican gardener named Juan?

Egged on by the U.S you said yourself they sent in the most troops and took control. The U.S. started it and Eurasian leaders joined in.

Actually, from reading what ex-Marines have said, the US could not keep control. Simply too few men.

Yes, but since the U.S. has helped before, since the US is fighting ISIS, since it protects us, I don't see how we can demand that they take millions of refugees.
The past is a foreign country.

ISIS is their fault. They destablised the ME.

Yes, in the innocence they thought they could bring freedom and democracy to the ME, but they realised it's impossible.

If that's how you define things are you sure the U.S hasn't got into your head and clung on?

The U.S helped create ISIS of course they should try and stop them *COugh* make it worse *Cough*

No one says they have to take millions, where did you get that from? The U.S should be given a quota just like the rest of Europe and as "Democratic supporters of freedom" They should technically do it out of the goodness of their hearts.

And makes things much tenser, I see China is spending more on it's military because of the U.S snooping around, I see Russia spending more on it's military because 1. Putin, for all his brilliance, is a nutcase. 2. The U.S has labeled them a "threat to world peace"

Wrong. Anything that happened in the ME is their fault. They put dictators in place, gave them lots of power, took it all away and left.

It is harder to convince you than I thought. I have no time to explain everthying fully detailed, but let's put it this way. The U.S. has more balls than Europe combined, and, as Churchill himself put it, "You can always count on Americans to do the right thing, after they've tried everything else."
The past is a foreign country.

Too right. We're still waiting for them to pull their noses out.

My point exactly and if we're talking ww1-2 I think America had the least balls, in ww1 Britain, France and grudgingly Germany fought on and on and on, the U.S was thrown in late as usual and then had the nerve to put in their history books that they won ww1 single-handedly.
As for ww2, the Soviet union had MASSIVE testicles, they bore the brunt of Nazi firepower and oppression and still kicked Mustachio's arse. Good old Blighty himself had bigger balls than the US, we fought on regardless of how bleak it looked.

in the beginning, kicking the mid' eastern hornet nest was actually the UK's idea.
As for taking in refugees, as an American I can not see that happening on a large scale in the US. Not too long ago the US took in a small number of refugees, and that caused a huge uproar. Any president who tries to bring in refugees would never be reelected unless he does something HUGE for compensation.
