Your nerves? Antichrist isn't a religion...Antichrist is a person. That person will have a false prophet that steers the whole world to worship the Antichrist like a religion. But that won't happen at first. First, he'll likely be a political leader...likened to be a "savior" of-a-type of political ramifications.

And, as for America is concerned, we don't have an "official" religion, but we are traditionally a Christian nation. That used to be true, anyway. Now we are a cursed nation with secularism dominating our polity since our people have corporately shunned God in public worship. And I don't think it will ever change before the end times arrive.

You continously evade the point. There is an expression in Spanish for what you do: "andarse por las ramas". You avoid the point and answer with abstract words and phrases. Who is this antichrist? When will he come? How will he come? From where is he? And most importantly, do you haveany proof that he exists or will exist?

Yeah, guess where America got their religion from? YES, THAT?S RIGHT; EUROPE! You are NOT more Christian than we are.

What point? It's been forgotten. But, Antichrist is the identity of a person -- a man -- likely of Roman descent. Who will come from Europe -- presumably -- and he will be called Antichrist because he is a false Christ that has been allowed to have authority unlike any other ruler in human history. And he will be bad...very bad.

As for proof, its Biblically-based, so you will likely scorn whatever I say. And, tonight, since I'm headed to see the fireworks soon, I don't want to take the time to delineate the scriptures that prophecy his rise and fall. However, if you ask nicely -- later -- then I'll create a case for his existence, then.

You want to really know where America got the Christian religion from? It's from the Holy Spirit. And yes, the faith was brought over by missionaries and pilgrims from Europe. But they were steeped in the faith and led by the Holy Spirit. And, whereas I have said that America is cursed due to our lack of faith, so too are many European nations that have undergone the same lack of faith. England was a conglomeration of Christian kingdoms that arose out of the ashes of Celtic paganism and had readopted the Christianized Roman principles that were established over a thousand years ago. France is another example of a nation that grew out of smaller Christian kingdoms.

Those were each formed into larger Christian nations. England started to abandon the faith after the lagging influence of the reformationists occurred when many of them left for the new world. France suffered a rise of the so-called rationalists (mainly just a bunch of heathens, really), so they went into rebellion against the crown. England lost America to a revolution by Christian adherents that had no respect for a British crown that did not follow Christian teachings as modern protestants understood them to be.

And America was then founded -- in principle and in reality -- as a Christian nation by a group of men who we revere as the founding fathers of our nation. They created a Declaration of Independence and later, a Constitution, that both followed Christian principles. Eventually, though, government began to override the teachings of the founders and found loopholes around the protections built in to the Amendments to the Constitution. Thus the rise of secularization has supplanted God in the public square.

Thus we are no longer a Christian nation. And Europe is ahead of America in that there are even lower percentages of Christians among the populace in Europe than in America.

The cartoons are by the New Yorker magazine, so I presume that they know about CNN.
