Presidential race pt.4: Fixtures

FORUM PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS 2024

Hello everyone! We're only 3 months from holding the presidential elections of the forums. So, this is why I'm releasing the fixtures and other important information for this election.

CANDIDATE REGISTRATION

  • Candidate registration begins on 17th of July and ends on 2nd of August. Candidates can feel free to register themselves for contesting in this elections during this time frame.
  • The deadline for registration can be increased.
  • Once the registration ends, one would not be able to register.
REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTERING AS A CANDIDATE

  • You should be a member of the forums for at least 9 months (As of 4th July 2024).
  • You should not have a past record of being a troll (Or any bad activity).
  • You should be an active member who at least logins once in a week.
RULES FOR CANDIDATES AND COALITIONS

  • You will have to accept the mandate of the election without causing a revolt, if you try to ignite a revolt, then you will be banned from participating again.
  • Do not force people to vote for you, if found guilty of doing so, then you will face a ban.
  • Be respectful, don't insult other candidates.
  • A coalition can comprise of any numbers of candidates but candidates won't be eligible to vote for themselves.
  • You can register your coalition till the polling starts, after that, you can't leave or change your coalition partners.

  • LCF party (Lady Aragosta, Claudio and Varendo's alliance)
  • The Polish Guy
  • Ascension Party (Stardragon)
  • [size=10]Talvisota
  • Renarsm

** Candidate registration will take place in this thread itself.

CAMPAIGNING

  • Candidates can start campaigning from 20th August and the final day of campaigning will be 30th September.
  • A separate thread for campaigning will be made by 20th of August. Candidates can campaign there itself and lay down their policies and plans for the future of the forums.
  • Candidates can campaign on people's walls and on other popular threads (Like the OBCR), the official thread for campaigning, would be the one made by me.
  • Once again, don't be a menace and avoid spamming.
  • Derogatory way of campaigning would be punished.

POLLING/VOTING

  • [size=10]Polling will start on 2nd October and will end on 7th October. [/size]
  • [size=10]A separate thread will be created where the polling will occur. We won't use any sites for voting (To avoid rigging)[/size]
  • [size=10]Format for voting would be issued soon. [/size]
RULES:

  • Your first vote is your final vote, once you have voted, your vote CAN'T be changed under any circumstances.
  • Do not delete or edit the post through which you voted, if done so, then your vote won't be counted and would be declared illegitimate. (Candidates are expected to encourage their voters to comply by these rules)
  • You need to be a member of the forums for at least 3 months to vote (As of 30th September).
  • You should not have a record of being a troll.
  • Once the voting period ends, you can't vote.

I'll add more details and make a post regarding all the rules.

I want to start off my campaign with the following:

Free speech will be allowed on the forum.Hate speech will be banned and not Ban speech that are hated.Meaning if someone points out something that are historically correct without trying to indiscriminate or hurt someone,it will be allowed, regardless if someone doesn't like it.We are not the same,we will have different opinions and every opinion must be welcomed.

Political and Religious propaganda shall not be tolerated.This forum have different types of people, everyone shall be accommodated.The forum does not belong to one political and one religious group only.Any form of supremacy shall be dealt with severely.Most of all,any war crime and genocide doesn't matter which side of the political sphere shall not be promoted or praised.All the people on the forum is part of an ethnic group that had relatives that died in some camp and genocide somewhere in the past or present.

The past shall not be associated or connected to the present.If someone for example feels that all current German/Russian members must be blamed or answer for things done in the past,it will not be tolerated.

I myself have made it clear in a thread that I am not a fan of Communism but it doesn't mean that I look down on the members that are Communist supporters and neither will I "stay on your case and try to make your life miserable".

We can have mature discussions without trying to hurt each other.

Yes the forum is actually meant for the game but since there is an Off Topic section it will be used to go off from the game and be used for things that has nothing to do with the game.There won't always be game issues so to have off topic discussions will be good.

General discussions section is for general issues regarding the game.

As president of the forums I can assure you that hate speech will not be tolerated and people will be able to enjoy the forums. In the past couple months the forums has become the frontline of racism and hate speech against ethnic groups. Secondly any comments or remarks about certain countries and their history will not be accepted or allowed, you cannot change history but you can learn from it to change the future.

As you may have known I do not support facist or communist governments. You can have opinions on these matters but this is not the place to share them. Another thing that should stay out of this forum is the disguising remarks about what countries started certain events, this again belongs to be kept out of here.

If I am elected As president of the forums I will work to create more role playing matches to get all forum members involved and help make this game more enjoyable.

Hello,

I will be anouncing my candacy for president.(please bear with me not being the most fluent in english, its very hard with long essays. thank you)

If I were to be elected to such a high and important office, my first act of president would be the following proposal of this bill,

The Forum Revival Act Of 2024.

This would entail the cow forum discord be abolished because of its redundancy, this may be controversial, however there has been a prior poll supporting this idea to some extent.

I do not support hate speech, but everyone has the freedom to express their own oponions, even if we don't like them. However, pretending to support a contorversial ideology to troll or spam(*cough* dinosaur cat *cough*) should not be allowed. As president attempting to convert anyone to your ideology should be strictly verboten if they do not want anything to do with the discussion.

Also, follow the TOS and other bytro rules.

I sincerly hope you consider me as a canadite.

No. Pineapple on pizza is an abomination. I like it, but this is in spite of myself.

The bacon and banana sandwich policy, on the other hand, is absolutely fine. I've never had the misfortune to run into them before but they sound like late-night alcoholic cooking, not respectable food.

I call of the people Vanrendo, Lady Aragosta and Stardragon to drop and endorse my campaign, you have very similar ideals, maybe we should work together.(You will be given huge roles).The forums are so nice and peaceful currently (under me). So many of you know my principles, no trolling, no spam liking among others. I also guarantee more community forum games and playthroughs each month!!! And Pineapple pizza and free beer for everyone.
