Within reason..

Quality ever time

It depends on the situation. If you have a large empire with many enemies, quantity. If you have a small hostlie frontier, quality. But quality is better for offense pretty much every time, and it's pretty easy to have lots of quality units in this game, so...

Wow, none of you seem to know quantity is a quality in its own right. Much prefer a swarm of cheap drones to a F-22.

unfortunately, we don't have drones here :/

Unfortunately. Although, @Ellio_98 is it not about IRL?

Quality.

Depends. Sometimes if you have enough of one unit, say tanks in cities. If they have enough numbers, they will destroy those pesky infa units. Not saying it's cost effective, but what I'm saying is if you have enough of a crap unit, you can destroy a few of a really effective unit.

I use Quantity early on to swarm my opposition, then after my quality units start getting built I send my Swarm to conquer until they're all dead. Then with all the extra resources I was wasting on the Swarm, I can build up my army of Stalintanium Tanks, Ships, and Aircraft. Oh, and Nuclear Missiles, always Missiles...

Russian bias? I think you mean Russian fact, Comrade!

Thank you.

In real, quality is better. Sometime quantity wins, but quality saves more lives and tends to be cost effective.

Depends, which would you rather have, 1 Tiger tank or 10 Pz. IV G's?

except thats not a fair comparison, because 10 pzs would cost more than one tiger. Maybey two or three pzs, and at that rate id' prefer a tiger.

And often in tank warfare, you need quality tanks, because small cheap tanks can't even pierce the enemy armour

In this game, quantity has it's limits, because if you have more than 20 of a unit in one stack, their stats start dropping, apparently

The G has a long barrel, so it can. Very close to the same gun as a Panther, I think the Panther's gun is a little longer.

Not so much. Who won at Kursk? In modern warfare, so-so. There is a difference between quantity of new, lower quality tanks, and older tanks that were already of a lower-ish quality when they came out.

This is a rather abstract. How big is the quality and quantity gap? It's not the same having 1 M1 Abrams against 50 Leopard 2Es, than having 1 M1 Abrams against 10 Pz IVs.

The past is a foreign country.

Well how about i put it as having 1 perfect weapon or 5 okay weapons or 15 poor weapons

It is, but I think Ellio means something as close to a perfect weapon as possible.
