Real Thing or Fake Thing?

This is a bit of a game with simple rules. Somebody names a thing, and people try to guess if it's real or fake, and if it's real, what it is. Ideas and philosophies count, but stuff made up in fictional works do not. When somebody guesses right somebody else comes up with a real thing.
