South China sea, Does China have the rights to it's whole entirety

It's a nasty territorial dispute between China, Vietnam, the Philippines and some other Asian countries.

It should be international. The U.S. gets, like, 75% of its oil passing through there.

Of course not! China needs to understand that there are other countries other than themselves that border the South China Sea. Really, the UN needs to establish an international boundary for the claiming of sea over there. If there are manmade islands, fine, but I think that 15km away from said island is international territory and NOT China's.

I believe it should be international waters, too many countries have a 'claim', so this option resolves the dispute by making everyone unhappy with the arrangement. A perfect compromise

my personal opion not as a mod but as mine it is china's and if it was not the UN making so many issues with places and things it gave out after the War it would not be even a debate!.

we just need to looka t the islands off the cost of china that japan has clams to and japan and korea it was the US and the UN who made these issues!

Regardless of who started the issues, I think the best way to solve it is to make it international.
